In fact, the crowd at Glastonbury always seems to look a bit gooseberry fool, hardly anyone seems to be that into it. Even in the Foo Fighters coverage, I expected to see at least some moshing or crowd surfing, but there was none of it.

I take it back, they were all leaping about like pogo sticks for Chic.

ed sheeran is a gooseberry fool closing act to Glastonbury ok he is "popular" and that i get but jeez his music is not the sort for closing a festival like Glastonbury it needs to be mental full of energy lightshows fireworks etc he is none of that. :dread:

Do agree. I think he's a bit of a gooseberry fool choice for a headliner but can see why he was chosen as such.

As a closing act it's a weak choice though, surely regardless of your preference the Foo's are the obvious choice to have fireworks shooting out of their guitars and gooseberry fool.

I dunno, the newer stuff's weak but they've got a really solid back catalogue for a festival slot.

Although I've heard a few things about the band members, generally erring towards the side that they're total arseholes.

What

That's what it's like now. One writer for the hook, one for the melody, one for the chorus, one for the verses.

It's a gooseberry fool business.

No.

I really can't comprehend how she got so big, I remember she was basically the sound of that summer which featured the London Olympics.

Caught a couple of their songs and they seemed to be going pretty heavy but yeah apart from the younger girls I'd imagine most would be down with it.
