David Mitchell not being like his character Mark from Peep Show disappoints me - I much prefer thinking he's fascinated by history and votes Conservative. In reality, he is on utter garbage like 10 O'Clock Live. GET BACK TO WORK ON PEEP SHOW!

10 O'Clock Live would be many times more enjoyable with David Starkey, Nigel Farage, Daniel Hannan and Ayaan Hirsi Ali instead of the current 4. Probably get better viewings and critic ratings too.

I just want a UK version of The Daily Show. Is that too much to ask?

Or... it's his view?

Shouldn't he, as presenter, at least attempt to challenge both parties no matter how uncomfortably un-PC it makes him feel?

Yes.

I always thought that they were there to debate this stuff. Yes they are presenters but they are supposed to have opinions and argue what they think, other wise it would be like every other crap show that gets guests on and the guest argue and the presenter just smiles and agrees with both sides no mater what the two sides are or say. (the one show).

I like that they are not balanced in their arguments and that they have their own views and opinions, it makes it more interesting.

It's a shame as this could be a great show satirising the weeks news, sort of a Daily Show for the UK.

Instead it just doesn't work. Hopefully the new series makes a lot of changes but I don't hold out much hope for it.

I didn't mind this show, apart from Laverne and the mindless criticisms of bankers. There are many problems with the banking system, but they didn't actually highlight any of them, just make fun of bankers for being pigs.
