Yeah I was going to point that out.

But Move has been shifting a lot of units and 3DS is outpacing DS at the same point in time

I think we'll see something like Sony's E3 2005 conference from MS this year to try to overshadow the Wii.

oh and it is revealed that before pulling out of the industry MS had signed a groundbreaking deal with Nintendo, gaining the rights to avoid any future RROD by building future systems from Nintendium.

There's a thought. If there is a depression next year, which is quite likely, the global interdependence our economies have developed will likely make it a bloody terrible one and it will probably be quite a few years before anyone releases a new console.

I have a feeling it is going to be bad. Cannot see the money being there for anything like the spending of the past.

Doesn't effect them in the same way though does it? Even if there isn't a demand for it they'll still supply - look at the 3DS for instance hurrrrrrrr

pc gaming/steam will ge bigger and continue to dominate

I'm going to try and be positive here.

Xbox 720 is announced for a first half of 2013 release.
PS4 is announced Christmas 2013
Wii U is released and is moderately successful with an upgraded Skyrim being a highlight
PS Vita is also moderately successful and has a better Christmas than the Wii U
More and more games are pushed back for the next gen.
3DS sales continue to pick up

Diablo 3 appears and I can finally buy it after waiting for 5 years and I complete it within a week.
Bathesda announce Elder Scrolls Complete with all 5 games given a makeover for a single seamless game for next gen based around a super upgraded skyrim engine.
Halo 4 will slip into 2013 as a next gen title.
Apple announce a games machine but it's a piece of gooseberry fool that nonetheless sells to bonkers Apple fans.
Lionhead announce another Powermonger game and it instantly becomes the most anticipated game of all time allowing Lionhead to hire enough people to rescue the British economy and Molyneux is crowned King of Gaming.

SkyRim on Wii U? Nah

Anyone who wanted to buy it would have done so by now. It wouldn't sell much on Wii U anyway.
