We'll play this by ear, but some basics I guess.

Firstly to get the brick rolling, if you can have the above set bought and ready for February the first, when I'll get the first person selected to choose something for us to create during February.

We'll take it month by month to start, but if we're going quicker we might reduce this down to a build every 2 weeks.

I've had a think about this and I'll also allow people to use a base plate if needed, ie if we're to build a house or statue, then it gives you something to stand it on, so yes, you can have a base plate if required, but other than that all you have is what you get in the 6913 box.

So if you require a Base plate, Lego.com pick a brick, Element ID: 4610353 will get you a decent 8*16 plate.

And Minifigs are always welcome

In. But as I mentioned in the Lego Thread, my 6913 bis already built as the sports car and any spares from the set are mixed in with my 10 kilos of random bricks.
A list of the exact contents of 6913's box would be much appreciated.

Failling that I'll buy a new one soon just for this. Can't hurt to have a bit of extra Lego knocking about.

I fancy taking part but obviously can't physically assemble anything, you think I could do this using Lego Digital Designer?

I might even do a few hi-res renders.

Are we allowed to customise them?

I've played about with it and now, only using the parts that came with it, it's been lowered as far as possible, about 0.5mm from the floor

As long as you stick to the same parts list as everyone else I dont see why not.

Using the Instructions and bricklink I've checked I've got the parts. Although according to bricklink it should 2 extra curved sloped in both blue and light blue. Cross referenced with the Instructions and realised it's wrong. If anyone could comment on what spares are included it'd be a great help at levelling the playing field.

I'll join in later- thanks to my car getting vandalised I just have no spare cash for this atm.

Trying to build a different creator set (some white racing car) but the instructions don't allow for the limitations of LDD, had to basically re-order the steps to avoid the hassle of trying to slot together several completed 'sections.

So what's the Craic here chaps? Just make the thing on the box or go freestylin'?

An object to make is nominated, spaceship, statue, building etc and using only the pieces on the creator set you have to make your best version.

So the set is decided, just waiting for applicants to obtain 6913.
Has anyone any ideas on what she should be creating? Or indeed a selection process of choosing an idea?
