Fixtures

Anyone know if the fixture dates be released straight after the draw or will that be in the next few months. Need to know when to try to book off time at work.

I doubt that's true but regardless I do think we'll end up with at least Brazil or France in our group.

Anyone know what time the actual draw is likely to start? Is 4:30pm the estimated time for the draw or the time the actual ceremony thing starts?

On BBC 2 the programme's from 4:30pm-5:45pm. Apparently the whole ceremony is 90 minutes long.

I'm guessing maybe a 5pm start to the draw?

The match times for us over here are:

17:00, 20:00 and 23:00 BST for the first 10 days
17:00 and 20:00 for the end of the group phase, the second round and the quarter finals.

Also on the first Saturday there's a match that starts at 2am. Four matches in one night :datass:

Can't wait to see who is in what teams. I'm sure Italy will get drawn against some hopeless teams and they'll barely scrape through, as usual. We will win the tournament though so that'll make up for it.
But, whenever I think of the World Cup I remember those damned vuvuzelas.

On my first go I had Uruguay and England not qualifying in a group with Algeria and Japan going through. :lol:

Got England in a group with the Yanks, Chile and Belgium. Belgium and Chile go through :lol:

Good group of death too; Argentina, Italy, France and Japan.

Got the Ivory Coast beating Argentina in the last 16, Colombia beating the Germans and Russia beating Portugal :dread:

Spain end up winning the whole thing :datass:

EDIT: Had four goes of this and England haven't gotten out their group once :lol:

I don't think that's too unrealistic.

I hope we get a good draw with Switzerland, Honduras and Ecuador, but if not I am going and have tickets for Group F pot 1 v pot 4 so would be nice if that was Germany/Argentina v England.
