Try not to be so negative about things (IRL that is, I'm fairly positive online)

Get driving before April.
A new job with hours that suit having 2 kids at home.
Move into a bigger house before next winter.

I think that's the main things.

Oh and learn basic French and Spanish

#1. Buy a car, I passed my test in April and just haven't got round to it yet.
#2. Watch more films (AKA get through my backlog).
#3. Complete more games (AKA get through my backlog and stop impulse buying).
#4. Run further (cumulative) than 506.70 miles. This was my total in 2014, 2015 was 342.19 miles so I want to get back up there again, I ran 11 miles today so there is a great start.
#5. Go to bed at a reasonable time, I can stay up till 2-3am nightly then be up for 6.45am for work daily, come home have my tea and fall asleep on the couch for 2-3 hours then come bedtime not be able to get to sleep so rinse and repeat. I need to stop this gooseberry fool! :fp:

As long as you continue to make logos as well, then this all sounds mighty fine, Mocky :toot: .

For the last few years I've been earning less than I spend and got myself into debt, so this year I'll be living on beans to pay some of that off.

- have a sex

1. Fitness goals - sit around 12.5-13 stone down from 14, be able to run 10k in under 55 minutes, the rest of the stuff in the fitness thread. The actual weight goal wouldn't be that big a deal if I could get to 88kg of muscle, but I don't see that happening.

2. Finish PhD. Nine years(fuuu) of being a student comes to an official and definitive end on 1st June and I've been trying to draft my thesis for most of the second half of 2015, so this needs to be finished.

3. Find some hobbies. This is more for the second half of the year because I won't have much time in the first. Looks like I'm doing a PADI diving course in February as well, which could be awesome. I used to love snowboarding, gaming etc but never do anything anymore, mostly 'cause work. I'd also like to start a martial art or some sort of fighting. Did kickboxing for a few months a while back and loved it, but drifted off and never bothered restarting.

4. Start saving. I want to either move abroad for a year or buy a house(well, West End flat because I'm a hipster banana split) when I finish uni, so this is the year to start working towards doing that.

5. I'm really bad at befriending people when I meet them. In 2016 I'd like to be better at being social. This makes it sound like I have no friends, I have plenty of friends( :slol: ). I'd just like to be able to go to a party and not feel like I have to stick to the people I know. Less social anxiety is maybe the right way of putting it.

I think they're all achievable with some work on my part. Adding them up, it really boils down to starting to be an adult this year, at the young age of 26.

Cycle to work every day.

No more booze.

Finally learn to drive.

Actively look for another job.

Have sex with a beautiful girl.

Save lots of money so I can finally move out of my parents' house.

My resolutions should be achievable.
Cut back to 1 cigarette a day (with an end goal of quitting cold turkey) and get to bed at a reasonable hour so I can wake up at 7:30 fresh.

I'm expecting an influx into the fitness thread with so many gym related resolutions..

Im beginning to wonder if I should get some money for charity to not drink all year or something, I don't plan on having much anyway and people are getting a fair amount simply for having this month off. Most people on my fb feed don't know I have a liver problem so could just keep quiet about that :shifty:

Start of a new regime:-

Take my work more seriously - keep pushing. (I'm self-employed.)
Enjoy life more and think more about now. (Blatantly nicked from christmasforever.)
Control my drinking. (I've set up a rota so that I can still enjoy but in a controlled way!! No drinking at all on a 'school-night' (Monday to Thursday), enjoy on Friday/Saturday nights, limited drinking on a Sunday night.
Get back to daily meditation.
Lose the weight I've put on over the last six months or so.

There, it's in black-and-white, let's see how long any of that lasts!
