You play ice hockey Lewis? It upsets me that Reading doesn't have an ice rink, so the closest that I know of is Guildford or Basingstoke

I played for the Coventry juniors for a couple of years, stopped because I broke my wrist and had to take a piano exam with a cast on my arm.

Used to when I was a kid. Guildford Juniors. Had to stop as my folks couldn't keep affording all the kit :(
You've got the Bracknell Ice down the M4 as well, but I'll never step foot in the Hive. Bee scum :dread:

We can meet & meat at a game one day if you fancy it.

I'm doing dry January, slipped up at the weekend coz a mate got dumped by her husband of ten years via email and as she was downing whisky it didn't feel like a 'Can I have a Diet Coke please?' kinda moment.

Rightey wrote:I'm moving to a new town in Feb. So this will be a big change for me. So it's a good chance to make lots of other changes too, this year I want to:

1) Manage my time better. I've already started trying to do this, I just need to stick with it.

2) Stay on track with the PhD. This is going well so far, I just need to keep it up, it ties into the time management thing.

3) Try to exercise at least three times a week. This should be fairly easy as my new pace has a pool very close by so I will try to do that as much as possible.

4) Clear some of my games backlog.

Wow, 0 out of 4 for me :fp:

1) I really need to work on this. I do not work nearly as much as I should. :dread:

2) Sort of on track with PhD, I wanted to be done my comps by now, but I slacked off, and now I'm hoping to get them done by the end of Feb.

3) I have at least been able to lose a bunch of weight though, but that was mostly due to dieting, rather than exercise. I'm trying to do the exercise again now.

4) I did actually play some of my old games, but I've also bought a crap ton of new games. :fp:
