Start of a new regime:-

Take my work more seriously - keep pushing. (I'm self-employed.)
Enjoy life more and think more about now. (Blatantly nicked from christmasforever.)
Control my drinking. (I've set up a rota so that I can still enjoy but in a controlled way!! No drinking at all on a 'school-night' (Monday to Thursday), enjoy on Friday/Saturday nights, limited drinking on a Sunday night.
Get back to daily meditation.
Lose the weight I've put on over the last six months or so.

There, it's in black-and-white, let's see how long any of that lasts!

Use the gym regularly and lose some weight.
Get a better work/life balance.
Use my train time more productively.
Get a major poker cash.
Get a new show on air, hopefully more successfully this time!

Also going to try to eat more vegan. I can't give up meat completely, but I intend to make use of substitutes for animal products and try to include more meat free meals. Where meat is used, I'd rather get higher quality/welfare stock. Not so much for my caring of animals, I'm very detached where food is involved, just for general good health and less environmental impact.

Celebrity Are You a Werewolf. Hosted by Ant and Dec. With the horrific mutilation and murder of "stars" from The Only Way is Essex, Made in Chelsea, Geordie Shore and Peter Andre.

I'd watch it.

If I can max out the premium bonds this/next year I'll be happy. I plan on spending as little as humanly possible in 2017.

Also:

  • Have a Threesome with two chicks. X

One out of four ain't bad! Happy with that! :slol: :fp:

I'll have a think and make some more.

Qikzmas wrote:To follow up on last year.

1. I'm moving in January to go live with my Dad and my Mum is going into warden assisted accomodation near where he lives so I want to make that move a success.
2. Get a temporary job while I look for a job in networking.
3. Use my third attempt at my CCNA to actually pass it to make number 2 possible.
4. Keep studying hard to finish the final modules for my degree, I've only got one left after the two I'm doing and no exams!

1. The move went fine, moved again since then and while it went well, living with my step mum hasn't been easy and it's been pretty gooseberry fool.
2. Managed to get a job in IT/Network support as my first job and I'm doing pretty well. Spoke to my boss today who said everyone really liked me out of our clients and the other staff/bosses and he said if I continue going the way I am good things will come to me next year (which made me really excited when he told me that today, possible promotion already would be insane).
3. Didn't attempt the CCNA due to lack of time and money. Didn't need it to get my job thankfully.
4. Misscalculated this, needed two more modules. One I finished and essentially got my degree, final module starts February and doesn't count for anything, but I need the credits.

Which brings me on to 2016.

1. Move again to my Dad's new house and make that move go well.
2. Continue pushing myself to learn new things and improve at work to hopefully grab a super early promotion!
3. Manage my time better when I'm not working. I want for this next year to arrange what games I'm going to play and actually finish them rather than letting a huge backlog grow and grow.
4. Learn to drive before July.

Following up again.

1. Well the move went well, but living there was gooseberry fool.
2. Kind of got a promotion so I guess that was fine?
3. Started off great, but I went back to never finishing anything again after about February.
4. LOL. I didn't even get my provisional license until this month.

Strawberry floatin' hell :fp: . For (3) I did cut back, but then went mad during November and December.

So, those three are my goals for 2017.

I didn't make any resolutions in this thread last year but I've bought my first property, got a new(er) car and got a new job this year. I'd call it a successful year overall.

Next year I'm getting married so I don't know if I have the scope for resoltuions. The one thing I would like to do is improve my fitness but I won't be upset if I don't.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

So what is your New Years resolutions?

1) Lose weight and get back in shape. I wrecked my body in 2015 so I need to get back on that gooseberry fool.
2) Focus on writing and video editing. I love it but I keep not doing it.
3) Watch more movies. I've basically snubbed every form of media apart from games.

strawberry floated it.

I tend to make ones I know I can stick to. Next year it will be clearing the credit card to zero.
