Fuuuuuck dude, that's 10 stone! Congrats. Feels good right?

Feels incredible. Like I'm a completely different person, I just wish I could actually see the difference when looking in a mirror.

Congrats on your weight loss too. :)

On a phone so apologies for grammar.

It's been a quiet year for me.

It's by no means been bad but my life isn't moving on at the pace I like. The ups are ive had some great holidays, bee. Skiing, Canada, Barcelona and Scotland. I'm reasonably happy in my job but I still find shift work a bit of a bitch, but I guess I'm quite wealthy for a single guy with no commitments in my age range. Bad news is that I am still single, however my confidence is growing ever more with each day and quite frankly I think I'll find a good un' soon and have the balls to make it happen unlike in the past. Next year I'm spending half of it in Cyprus so we'll see what that brings. Probably my life goes won't change much but I'll get a tan and have a few stories to bring back.

My wife moved up to Liverpool in February, so I was apart from her during the week for most of this year, and we were haemorrhaging money to Virgin Trains. I moved up there myself in September but with only part time hours. I've now gone up to a higher band and I'm full time. So I'm in a full time job in the region I want to live in, living in the same house as my wife, and with a ginger cat that I do love to bits even though she's an odd pain in the arse sometimes. So I've met quite a lot of my objectives for this year, but I'm very glad to see the back of it as well. October 2016 in particular can strawberry float right off.

I'm positive about 2017 though, it's starting off with a lot of opportunities and I have a concrete plan to finish my financial recovery from moving up and being part time.

2016 has been the best year of my life!

April: got a substantial promotion and pay rise
May: went on an amazing trip to Canada; watched Wimbledon win the League Two playoff final at Wembley
September: created a small person, due 2017
October: completed process of buying our first home
November (and this is the big one): bought a PS4

Usual Eikaiwa stuff. I'm gonna be working for ECC, teaching English to various age groups. Not my long-term plan but it should be fun for a couple years.

2016 was alright, despite all the negative things happening to the world.

- My brother and wife had a child, and my cousin had one also. Both are awesome little babies.
- Bought a house which I have yet to complete. Should move out March time.
- Moved job sideways. No payrise or anything, but I'm treated better and my boss is not a shitehawk.
- Sister graduated in October. Much like Moggy, she is a batchelor of science.
- Successfully organised a well received stag do.

Stuff to look forward to in 2017

- Moving out. Never lived by myself before. Shorter commute. More spare time.
- Acting as one of the best men for my mates wedding. I'm hoping everything goes to plan on the day, cause they deserve a great day.
