4K, 8K, 16K, 32K. I love it, it's like the old days of getting rid of a 16bit console for a shiny new 32bit one.
I wonder how many K resolution we need to get to before we get to the point where each pixel is smaller than an atom?
Pffft, strawberry float K, we need bits back so that we can tell true power. Things ran smoothly under that system until Atari and Nintendo strawberry floated it up. The console generations should have gone like this:
8bit – Master System, NES
16bit – Megadrive, SNES
32bit – Saturn, 3DO, PlayStation, Jaguar, N64
64bit – PS2, Xbox, Gamecube
128bit – PS3, Xbox 360, Wii
256bit – PS4, Xbone, Wii U
512bit – Switch, PS4Pro, XboneX
In bold are the two consoles that strawberry floated up the proper order of things by trying to jump to the next bit generation. For shame! Things have been shite ever since. We could have been on 512bit consoles now!
