The two CD/triple vinyl set will also include a remastered version of OK Computer and eight B-sides.

An expanded box set will boast the triple LP, as well as a cassette tape compiled by the band featuring tracks taken from the OK Computer session archives and demo tapes.

The limited edition set will also include a replica of Yorke's handwritten notebook from the era and a hardcover book packed with unreleased artwork and lyrics "to all the tracks except the ones that haven't really got any lyrics".

The band has also revived its 1997-era website to mark the occasion.

OK Computer remains one of Radiohead's most beloved albums - marking the point where they shrugged off the strictures of "rock" and began to write more fluid, experimental songs.

£100 for the boxed edition

Rescued from defunct formats, prised from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage… OK COMPUTER: the original twelve track album, three unreleased tracks and eight B-sides, all newly remastered from the original analogue tapes*.

Inside a black box emblazoned with a dark image of a burned copy of OK COMPUTER are three heavyweight 180 gram black 12" vinyl records and a hardcover book containing more than 30 artworks, many of which have never been seen before except by us, and full lyrics to all the tracks except the ones that haven't really got any lyrics.

Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke's library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock's 'preparatory work' and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us, taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes.

To avoid accusations of wilful obscurity, a 320k MP3, 16- or 24-bit WAV download of 23 tracks will be available to you on 23rd June and a download of the cassette will be inside the box. This edition is currently only available from this site and will ship to you from July.

£23 for the 3 Vinyl which includes a download link for the digi versions.

strawberry float. The summer of 1997.

I used to listen to OK Computer whilst playing Cool Boarders, in my parents' living room, for hours at a time. It was a bittersweet summer because, though I didn't realise at this stage, I had underperformed quite hugely in my A-levels. The opening crashing chords of Airbag still take me back there instantly.

I can remember being that person, yet I'm far from the same person now.

strawberry float, I'm old.

I was not a massive Radiohead fan at the time, but that album being 20 years old is strawberry floating mental.

1997 was a great year, I dropped out of college like the lazy gooseberry fool I am, got my first full time job and passed my driving test. An entire summer of driving around in my little red Fiesta.

Would like to get the £100 box but is it necessary? That's still cheaper than seeing them live right now.

Will defs get the CD version though.

I've been holding off buying a digital version of this album in the hope they would do something like this.

I spent the summer of 97 going rounds to a friends house to play Adidas Power Soccer, and later on FIFA, in our spare periods while at 6th form doing A-Levels listening to this.

Some great albums from that year Blur, The Fat of the Land, Urban Hymms and er, Be Here Now.

Very much the albums that remind me of my first term at uni (not Be Here Now, obvs.) Throw in Brighten the Corners by Pavement, as well as the stuff by Pulp, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Manics, plus Gomez, and that's pretty much my year one playlist right there.

It was the beginning of the end of Britpop.

I can't imagine many better eras than the mid-90s with Britpop (Euro 96 & WC 98) to be a teenager in.

In It For The Money - Supergrass is another one good one from that year.

I'd imagine the mid-60s would like to have a word. ;)

I loved the mid to late 90s though, maybe just because I was young but it just seemed such a fantastic time to be alive.

I am now a more confident, together person and my life is by and large pretty great... but I'd give my left nut to have those years again.

Yes, I can imagine that would be one of other good times.

I know Blair is not the most popular person anymore, and I'm not really a political person so if this is not the case go easy on me!, but it felt like there was so much optimism around that time and him getting elected was part of it.

Going off on a bit of a tangent there, so, I've never listened to another Radiohead album since OK Computer. I don't think I've ever even listened to another song they did since from start to finish!

I went ahead and bought the vinyl, £23 isn't bad. I too would love the £100 box but I just can't justify it. That said the C90 mixtape is a nice touch.

Pretty much the only successful band to emerge from my hometown (Rugby) :datass:

Not listened to that in years and years. Will download now and do it on the journey home. Great shout.

Went for the blue triple LP. Got the Moon Shaped Pool boxset last year, can't justify this one too so happy with the vinyl.

I've never actually listened to Ok Computer, but I have this one. I really like The Bends. Some excellent guitar playing on it.

For me, peak Radiohead will always be this. I like the Bends but it just grazed the end of my university days whereas Pablo Honey was part of the soundtrack.

strawberry float, 20 years old. I remember it coming out and thinking "this is strawberry floatin' amazing". The video for Paranoid Android was on heavy rotation on MTV due to pixelated dismembered human limbs and finally hearing Exit Music live at the front row in a small venue in Tel Aviv encapsulated what an album it was. I feel they never reached the same peak.

You are genuinely the first person I've ever seen to proclaim PH as the best Radiohead album. Fair enough
