Dirt is an amazing album,it's up in my top ten somewhere.

Queens of the stone age : Rated R Songs for the deaf

1st Sky is falling
2nd Song for the deaf
Worst maybe the bonus track at the start of the album because the rest of it is amazing. I would say to skip the first song on your first few listens though as it might give an unfair representation of what the whole album sounds like.

Wrong album, that's Songs for the Deaf. And the opening track is great.

Best: Smack my bitch up
2nd best: Funky gooseberry fool
Worst: Fuel my fire

Still sounds incredible after 21 years.

I really like Fuel My Fire. Serial Thrilla is probably my least favourite on FOTL, but it's all pretty great.

Whoops, my hangover says hello. I agree that the first song is brilliant(as is sharp shooter),but it might put the average listener off, making them think that the whole album is the same festival of screaming. So I reckon people should only introduce themselves to the first song once they've learned to love the rest of the album.

Rated R is also a phenomenal piece of work.

Pendragon - Window of Life

Very much a prog-rock album, my choice of songs won't change any minds if you aren't into the genre. Also I'm going to cheat a little. There isn't really a song on the original release I could pick as a worst one. So I'm going to go with the release that had three extra songs on it.

Best - Nostradamus (Stargazing)
Second - The Last Man on Earth
Worst - Fallen Dreams and Angels
