An additional 72 tracks are available now for Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Mega Mix on Switch! :o :toot: .

Add 72 playable tracks from Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone to your game for a total of 250 songs.

Play iconic hits such as:
• Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder -39's Giving Day Edition-
• Dreaming Leaf
• Far Away
• Innocence
• Iroha Uta
• Iya Iya Seijin
• Kagamine HachiHachi Flower Fight
• Knight of Light
• Mellow Yellow
• moon
…and so many more!

A demo of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is available now on the Switch eShop! I've just had a go and...

+ Fantastic music tracks!
+ Lovely presentation!
+ Generous demo!
- Too hard? :-(

It really is presented well; great characters, good video and lots of wonderful music. The button press sequences seem cool (although a few, including the "two-way arrows", I don't get) but I wish there were an easier option. I started on the basic (Level 1) setting and failed at that  . A video (lengthy but fun) pops up to show other tracks in the game and some of the higher skill levels look crazy; I'm never going to be able to do them!

A lovely demo and I really want to like the game; but, man, it's tricky. I will give it another go.

Neat, I may have to check that out. I really enjoyed the 3DS game, though again, I found that the speed of input required at the more advanced difficulty levels was a bit much for me. And that was about 8 years ago.

Yeah, it's definitely worth a go, kaz! You get a credit and use it to choose a music collection to start off with. I chose FF XIV Online and really enjoyed hearing some of the music that I've heard in that game.

Oh, and the demo intro is terrific. Great pixel art, loads of characters and an array of tunes. It really sets the scene.

I notice the demo for this is out on PS4 as well - I'll download that this evening and give it a try. Always like a new rhythm game, and one with Final Fantasy music sounds pretty appealing :datass:

Nice one, Lotus - it'll be good to hear what you think of it. I'm wondering if other folk will find it to be a bit tricky, too.

Haven't played many rhythm games over the years, mainly because i'm rubbish at them. :shifty:

However, those i have played have been excellent, titles such as the Parappa games and Elite Beat Agents.

I finally got around to playing the demo of this, jawa. I like it. They've clearly put a lot of effort into the presentation, and the amount of content seems pretty impressive. It's a generous demo with seemingly a lot of content in there, but having played it and liked it, I'm almost reluctant to play any further and just wait until I buy the game, which I think I will end up doing. One thing I'm not a fan of is the character design - like some awful, general Funko Pop style - but I can look past that.

I've probably played 5 or 6 songs and got S and A ranks so far, so I'm not finding it tricky, but I haven't upped the difficulty from the default yet. I tend to enjoy these kind of games more as the difficulty increases, so that'll be good. Which aspect(s) were you struggling with, jawa?

Good stuff, Lotus! It sounds like you're doing well with the demo and, yeah, the complete game is gonna have tons of tracks (even more if you buy the DLC!).

I've only had a few goes (and I selected FF XIV Online as my first game as that's one that I'm a little more familiar with in the FF series) but it was tough to get to grips with all of the moves; I get what needs to be done in terms of button presses (bar the one that has a little arrow pointing both left and right?) but the timings are tricky. I wish the easy level was a little more forgiving! I've only tried the game for a short time, though, and I am going to try again.

I love the styling, presentation and the variety of songs so I do want to get into it!

Okay, I haven't played any of the FF XIV Online songs (I just started at FF II and then went onto V) so maybe they're a bit trickier. But the game's quite forgiving with its inputs, by which I mean you can press any face button to hit the notes, and use either analogue stick to flick up or down. The ones with multiple arrows just mean you need to move both sticks at the same time, in whatever direction the arrows indicate. The sections where you have to move the stick up and down and follow the flow of the notes are quite interesting, but it's reasonably forgiving.

Worth having another go, jawa. I think you can adjust the timings in the options/settings if something feels a bit off.

Yeah, one of the arrows (the left side) points left and the right arrow points right. I guess I move the left stick left and the right stick right? Will try that!

I am gonna dive back in for another go, Lotus; probs tomorrow. I'm hoping that it'll be like Hatsune Miku where I was lousy at first but concentrated on just one or two tracks to get into it... and then I enjoyed it!

Nintendo Life has reviewed Theatrhythm Final Bar Line and they liked it [9].

Metacritic reports a score of 86 after the first ten reviews of the Switch version.

So far really enjoying it, it's pretty much more of the same as Curtain Call but IMO not as goo without the stylus. I am getting used to using buttons but it does feel more difficult but maybe I need practice. I was playing on Ultimate on Curtain Call and some songs on Supreme but finding that difficult on this game so far so sticking to Expert.

it feels very arbitrary to limited the games you can play songs from at the start
