Got my copy in the past this morning. Looks and sounds fantastic and can't wait to get further into the game. 3D seems a bit iffy in places so I think I'll keep it off. I do get to start with 23 villagers which is quite nice too.

I should probably start adding people to my friends list as well, seems like an interesting mechanic to take advantage of.

Maybe it gets better later in the game then? I noticed in Norende Chasm that I could see the 'shadows' of the characters when in 3D whereas elsewhere it has been fine. Also when the game zoomed out in the first city I didn't really like how everything had a black outline, it kind of ruined the art style for me. Maybe it's just because I'm tired. I'll keep it on minimum anyway like with Fire Emblem and see how it pans out.

I actually did that a couple of days ago. Died the first time to an Energy Burst but the second time round I just stuck everyone on Default the first round after he transformed and everything went alright. Guess you can get unlucky with the BP draining skills though. :dread:

edit: Also seems most the voices are done by voice actors from Ghost in the Shell. :wub:

This has sold 1 million copies worldwide, 600k in the west, and 400k in Japan. Hopefully this means they'll localise the sequel.

That boss before the water crystal is a right banana split. Such a step up in difficulty

Especially when it seeds itself

Went back to this today, in a dungeon where the enemies are easy enough but than I get to the boss and there are three of them who can kill me in one turn as each of them attack the whole party

Now this game is great but the difficulty between enemies and bosses
