I'm not sure I like this change. Gives you more opportunity to grind the jobs, but, we've already done all of this before. The slight variations in dialogue are nice, but they are not enough. I think Rudderless posted that the game was getting repetitive towards the end, I can see why he may have thought that.

I think you're right about not getting to excited. I feel so weird about continuing now.

Thing is you don't have to re-do the sub bosses at all. Just do the four main bosses again and move on to the next cycle. I really liked the time travel stuff myself and redid all the bosses every time since I did it more to try out more jobs with my characters and get more XP, but you can skip them if you want.

Even with the slight changes dialogue I still can't remember what each of the characters said originally and the fact you have to do this three more times is going to get repetitive.

Three times? What the hell. Think I will skip the sub bosses then.

I've redone two side quest bosses in chapter 5 and all I got was job points. No money or experience. I hope this isn't the case for all side quest bosses from this point onwards.

I've done a few now, all I've received is job points. The crystal bosses give you exp though.

Man, that fire crystal boss is still an utter dickhead. strawberry float YOU FLOATING BRAIN THING.

Edit - Think I might give this a break for a week or two. 50 hours + and I'm kinda feeling like I need to give it a rest for a bit.

I feel just the same as you. I was really enjoying the game until we got to the repeatathon of Chapters 5 to 8. I don't know why the developers thought this was a good move.

I was annoyed about it when I got there. I intend to finish it despite being irritated by the direction they took the story. It really is an excellent game apart from this. I absolutely adore the battle system. I will support a sequel if it's localized. I doubt that will ever happen now.

I'm a not long into this, it's good though. I forgot that I'd started the demo so had about 15 in my village that I'd already picked up.

I'm still trying to properly get my head round the battle system aside from just hitting Brave a few times and then hoping for the best.

My friend code is 3308-4539-7386 if anyone's wanting to add me.

Oh yeah, I decided to take on a Nemeses, for the lolz. It went as well as expected.

I got sent a level 25 one. I killed that weird baby head with tentacles, like a boss. All the others have been level 99. Nope.

Someone put the entire soundtrack on youtube. Goddamn, those special attack tunes :datass: Edea's twirl

Levelling up all the jobs, improving my village (difficult when you can't add any more players), tackling all the optional quests etc.

Are you not using randomers you can get from the save screen?

That's just it - I can't add anyone, nor update data. Doesn't work for me.

Is it the quest that leads on from the thief asterisks fight? If so, as far right as you can go in Ancheim. The merchants building is across the bridge.

Edit - if its later in that quest line, its the door near the big clock, if I remember correctly.
