The previous day you each prepared for the show, deciding where you would be within the theatre to help prevent the assassination. Jefferson Sykes offered to purchase a presidential booth ticket along with Luis. The theatre company was kind enough to let Sykes off the 10 gold. Both he and Luis would secretly guard Lincoln, waiting for the assassin to arrive. If they saw the assassin they planned on using the revolvers they hid in their clothes to take the man down.

Banjo purchased a backstage pass and stood by the stage door. The previous day he stealthily hid the Sniper Rifle backstage. Having done some research he knew there were as few people as possible in the backstage area during a performance, so he should be able to hide in the shadows by the door and watch out for the killer.

Memento Mori, being awesome, managed to talk his way into the theatre and is sat among the crowd at the front as we speak. Roonmastor decided to stay outside where it is free and guard the door to the private boxes.

The President was already in place and the play was just beginning...

1 hour later... and no sign of an assassin.

Down on the theatre one of the actors spoke.

"Don't know the manners of good society, eh? Well, I guess I know enough to turn you inside out, old gal -- you sockdologizing old man-trap."

The line was immediatley followed by bellows of laughter. It was nearly deafening. Then, it happened...

Image

Through the laughter, nobody noticed the spray of blood, no one noticed the president slump his head backwards. Except Sykes and Luis. The immediatley drew their revolvers, scanning the area for the assassin. They could not see him.

Seconds later, Major Henry Rathbone jumped from his chair, saw the two heroes with their guns drawn. He immediatley ran in and tackled them both.

Image

As Henry Rathbone struggled to keep both men under control he waited for the laughter to die down. Then there were screams. Moments later the presidential room was filled with guards, they effortlessly pinned down Sykes and Luis. It was game over for them.

Senor Luis and Jefferson Sykes have been framed for the murder of Abraham Lincoln. They have been arresed and removed from the game.

Akonting Jim stood by the stage exit, smirking. He lowered his Sniper Rifle and dropped it in the shadows. It had been a success. When he was young, his parents had told him all about his ancestor who was brutally murdered by a decendant of Luis. In a castle in Languedoc, the evil beer loving knight Sir Lewis had murdered Sir Banjo for his treasure. Akonting Jim had always wanted revenge. He had paid good money to be taken on a slave ship to the new world, and tracked Luis down to a ranch in Colorado. Akonting Jim was happy that Luis had chosen to guard Lincoln's box, as he could frame him with the Sniper Rifle.

Akonting Jim kicked the stage door open where he saw the young man he had paid to guard a horse. He lunged at the young man pushing him down in the mud, then mounted the horse and rode off into the night.

Three days later, Senor LuisD and Jefferson Sykes were hung for the murder of Abraham Lincoln.

Roonmastor and Memento Mori escaped the theatre with the crowd and remained uninvolved with the investigation. Using the gold they had aquired they bought their freedom. Roonmastor returned to his costal hometown Marinha Grande where he kicked Fernando Fernandez's ass and fingered his pies. Memento Mori returned to Venice to find Desdemonas father had been killed in a swimming accident. They both got married and had beautiful children.

Akonting Jim, the treacherous swine, rode the american west eventually using his money to join a notorious train robbing gang led by Jesse James. He became very rich and eventually left the group to grow old with the naked ladies he bought. He died in 1902.

The survivors...

Roonmastor- 110 gold
Memento Mori- 90 gold
Banjo- 40 gold

The dead...

Captain Kil- Angus McGraft
LewisD- Senor LuisD
PsychicSykes- Jefferson Sykes

   That was brilliant, Banjo! Absolutely brilliant! I bet Lewis is regretting his decision at the end of AQ1 now. Too bad Sykes had to go down with him.

And many thanks to Hulohot to running another brilliant AQ.

Poor Sykes though. Didn't you also get sexually assaulted to death in the original game? One day you'll survive to the end.

Got to hand it to Sykes, though, he does consistently die in impressive circumstances. This time it was by being framed for the murder of the President.

As interesting as it would be, I dont, at the moment, really plan on doing another one. I intended to let it die after this one rather than drag it out. :) But you never know...

I also congratulate and thank Hulohot for running the game. Did Banjo know all along he was an assassin?

Anyone have any contructive feedback, maybe what I did improve and what needs changing or adding? Any ideas of your own? I would like to hear them. :D

I prefered the more realsitic take on it (aside form the ghostly old woman and demonic doppelgangers). Even though it was bloody hilarious, I thought the whole resurrection of Christ bit in the first one was too over the top, really dragged me out of it. I like how this one was more grounded, if the plot is going to go to such incredible levels then make it in a sci-fi or fantasy setting rather than something quite factual.

JESUS CHAAAARGE!

Did the Glastriel thing seem out of place then? That entire section was based on a story I wrote a while ago but the whole Bone Hill thing in Levasy is supposed to be true, a treasure at the wall, a bright light that hovers over the wall, thought to be a ghost. As it was based on my story I had planned on there being more depth but I think I just rushed it.

The whole Jesus coming back thing is quite pale compared to some of the whack stuff that happened when I did them on the other website, such as Bin Laden on a magic carpet shooting missiles at their plane. :fp: And a complete rip off "fight" with a Shadow of the Colossus esque creature. I guess being older I take the history side of these a bit more seriously, although every one I have ever done has been based on certain areas of history. Rambling...
