But we're in the era of replaying the same things over and over again, but with better graphics.

I really liked the game, but there's no need at all for a remake. Just sounds like they see it as an easier way to make money than coming up with something new.

It makes sense when you consider the publisher got the rights to the original and this has nothing to do (as far as I can tell) with the original devs.

They look improved to me.

Still not convinced why it's necessary though.

Push Square have reviewed this.

Nicer graphics. New soundtrack. Same gameplay, but with co-op - and this "undermines the experience". Also... "hard crashes". And - "Throw in some technical woes and you’re left with a remake that doesn't quite feel up to snuff in a modern setting."

Oh, man. When you think that the original can be bought for something like £2 in a digital storefront sale - and even the port on PS4 is currently £2.99 - and with this costing about £20, I wonder what score they awarded?

7.

Yes, seven.

Seven.

The original is a great game and well worth playing, of course; much better value - and, perhaps, better overall considering the lack of any tech issues - than this "remake".

Yeah, this sounds bad and I can't say I'm at all surprised.

PC Gamer are not fans

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake isn't just needless, it's as creatively bankrupt as a remake can get

Was anyone actually excited for this? This is going to sell about 3 copies. I'll probably rattle through it on Game Pass when it inevitably lands in about three months.
