I actually thought I was winning out of the Arcade Six, it came as a bit of a shock I hadn't done enough. Mind you I kinda figured none of my tomfoolery was actually going to jeopardise anyone in our 'alliance' as the other team had sat and done nothing for 40 minutes and I knew with the chip I had deliberately kept back from the start that there was an even number of cards in play and that I was always likely to get the trades, especially within a small manageable group.

It was a weird dynamic because until we knew what the other team was doing you have no idea whether winning is even a possibility, so you just play hard. Truth is, you can't freeze people out of the game, they gottta work with me at some point or cut off all their options.

Definitely thought it was a bold play at the start. My main worry is you putting a target on your back.

Joey can strawberry float off. He comes across as an loud, arrogant arsehole and the sooner someone puts him out the better.

I do wonder DML if you played your hand a bit early in openly screwing people while I think Joey was good enough to bring some people along with him. I think he needs to be got out ASAP.

Post in The Traitors thread, the same sort of vibe as that show so it may resonate well there

Watched the first episode and really quite enjoyed it. Wasn't sure about it at the start but got into it.

Yeah I turned it off quite soon - wasn't expecting it to be all zoom and the poor audio quality of some mics was annoying.

I will try again based on everyone's warm reactions!

Edit: Made it past the intros this time, this is good!

Very glad I gave that a second go - really great stuff. I've smashed that subscribe button. Looking forward to the next ep!

Love that we have a clear villain in Joey already. He's such an arrogant knob.

I suspect Joey may be on the spectrum tbh.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

This was a child of the Pandemic as it was first planned in 2020 and filmed in 2021.

Yep, and I think my initial reaction was based on feeling a bit "over" that format at the moment, but so happy I went back in as I can't wait for the next ep now. Great stuff.

Yeah week one really screwed DML. :fp:

It was when "Stinky" (sp?) basically went round every room and told them to sabotage him that I knew he was done.
Never cause waves at the start of these things, because you invariably end up out within the first 3rd of the show.

Devin's "shtick" at the Duel was amusing for about thirty-seconds then I just wanted him to shut the strawberry float up.

Honestly not sure I'm going to bother watching the rest now. All the other players are either annoying, or useless right now. :|

I did.

That said, I had two chances to win the trial!

I have had sleepless night after sleepless night over not playing 4,000 instead of 2,000. If I do that, its game over, I win.

Also the NoLucks conversation is one the stupidest things ever. It is in both of our interests to do a deal, and yet he won't despite it actually hurting him and not actually sending me to the bottom. Its, so, so stupid! ARRRGGHHH. He got so caught up in whether I was lying, he didn't realise it didn't matter if I was, he had no choice but to trust me and he still ran the other way.
