The Gambit Game begins! Will it be a very short stay or am I in it for the long haul? Starts tonight on YouTube as a Premiere at 8pm UK time! I have seriously tough competition...

How are they handling the social aspect of the game? You can't wander about a big set looking for a quiet place to scheme together online.

I'm late but just starting it. Good luck DML!

Bit unsure at first during the intros and just getting used to it being over zoom, but once the game started and DML screwed over his alliance I was fully onboard. Loved it by the end.

One question: Did everyone who said they would give a light orb to avoid the trial actually give it over before the game, or they got to keep it because he lost?

Just tell me if it has Extreme Ways. I’ve finished S1 of The Genius now and I can’t get hyped for any twist in anything without it.

The music used in Genius is great and its used masterfully.
Mostly tunes by a group called Idiotape, some other western artists and movie soundtracks which is quite weird but fun. :lol:

There was a callout over two years ago on a gameshow website for a Genius style show. It was the pandemic, I was grumpy and I asked permission to apply. They got back to me and then after some chats I got cast, only to realise the cast was going to be really strong and quite experienced. From there it was all done online once every couple of weeks in the evening. Its taken about 20 months to get it edited by people in their spare time.

Oh...and I missed the duel because it was filmed a different day. There wasn't an obligation to be there but I did want to be to support Cathy. Thankfully she got the job done!

Ah that's cool. Makes sense as well. Didn't expect it to be that long to make! :shock:
