Cool! Did you play it and enjoy it? Well done on keeping an open mind, it's a good quality to nurture!

I like being proven completely wrong about a game. Went in expecting to hate Death Stranding but actually really enjoyed (most of) it!

Edit: Also Chrono Trigger, mainly as I don't really like classic JRPGs or anime.

i did enjoy my time with it over all. i was getting quite frustrated with it before i got the hang of the mechanics. i do have few gripes but i suppose they didn't ruin the experience in the end. i am almost tempted to give it another run a see what i can find on another route but i think i get enough wind and rain messing with me when i walk the dog

Glad you liked it in the end. Even after you've made it in time for Beltane I still think it's worth a few re-runs (I did a lot more than a few...) - now that you can stop worrying about making it in time, you can just pooter about the hills finding peaks and routes and secrets (which in turn make you able to get to the end even faster!).

I don't use Twitter properly, but did make this post a little while ago with some photos I took in the game and a snap of the handwritten map I ended up making towards the end when I was trying to complete all the peaks:

In case of interest!

hmm doing it without worrying about the time limit sounds like s good idea
