That's redundant considering Half Life 2 is better than the both of them. :D

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Crackdown would beat C&C in this day and age, surely?

I'd like to think that Eternal Darkness would cling onto its spot in the list.

I can't imagine what might replace Super Mario World.

Super Mario 64?
Super Mario Bros 3?
One of the good Sonic games?
Silent Hill 2 maybe?

There are quite a few great games starting with S, could be a bit of a fight for it. Myself, I'd replace Goldeneye with Grim Fangango.

i'd love to agree with this... But I think I actually prefer HL1. I liked the story better.

Hahahahaha.

No.

Even at his best, Sonic has never approached the sheer sublime majesty of Super Mario World.

Yeah I thought Sonic was pushing it a bit, those other mario games I've mentioned (see the edit) could be in with a shot though.

I dunno. Mario World DID manage to beat off Mario 64 last time, as it is one of the single most sublime pieces of game-design in the history of the industry. Even now, the only thing I can think of to challenge it is Braid, and while that's arguably slicker, it doesn't manage (indeed, doesn't even attempt) to achieve the same breadth of content.

Galaxy is a strong competitor, to be sure, but the number of people who believe that Mario 64 was better could very well drag it's score right back down again.

Let's be honest, every single one of us played and loved Pokemon Red and Blue. It changed the industry and probably saved Nintendo.

And it's a fantastic game, it rightly deserves its place there.

How about someone steps up to create a new one A-Z Hall of Fame since there are plenty of people who aren't pleased with the results? We can't expect A.I. to do another one as he's doing enough events at the moment.

If people want another GR A-Z Hall of Fame, I'll be happy to do it again. It will probably be a couple of weeks though.

In the meantime, everyone can use this thread to discuss what games should be in the next one!

By the way, the existing 26 games have been inducted into the A-Z Hall of Fame so they can't be replaced or changed. The next 26 games have to be all new entries!

I can think of a few! Remember, it's any game from history, not just recent games.

X-Men: The Official Game.

That deserves a place!

Do they have to be of a different series as well? I'm saying this because if people were to vote Pokemon Silver/Gold would it be allowed, or once one example of the series has been used that's it, any other from the series is made void (it would make it better).

It's down to the forum members to decide what games are voted in, so if the forum wants Pokemon Silver/Gold to enter the A-Z Hall of Fame under P, there's nothing I can do about it!

I also think it's OK for multiple games in a series to be voted in, as there are, for example, several Zelda games worthy of induction under Z, but not many other stand-out games beginning with that letter...
