This is coming out in the next week or so, but haven't been able to find a topic for it. Anyone interested in picking it up? It looks like it'll be a whole buncha fun. But not having anyone to play it with means i'm going to have to give it a miss, which is a shame.

It looks great, Im a sucker for things like Prison Break and Escape Plan and Ive always wanted a good prison escape game, so this is right up my alley.

Or it was until I saw that, go strawberry float yourself multiplayer. I dont want to play with other people, I want to play alone in my tiny dark playroom and not interact with people. If this gets fixed so its playable in single player only I might give it a go.

I don't think I'd buy this even if it had solo play and that's because the lead dev/face of the game comes off as a total wanker. (He's not said anything controversial; he's just a wankstain.)

Isn’t it a thing that a co-op partner can download this for free, or have I totally imagined it?

Nope, you didn't imagine it (or maybe you did and they stole your idea!): https://www.polygon.com/2017/12/7/16748 ... l-tga-2017

Well that’s good of them, isn’t it? It’s still displayed in split screen even though you can play it online, I believe. Might be wrong - the design of one of the main characters is so hilariously distracting that I frequently forget details about the actual game.

Watched IGN's preview the other day and it does look very impressive but co-op only? Bugger that.

This game would clearly lose its entire purpose if it was playable in singleplayer

I'll be playing it through at some point, just almost certainly not near release

Is it local co-op, as in one one console? If so I'm in as the wife will love this, otherwise strawberry float that.

Edit: Just read it is :toot:

Will wait for it to bomb and go on sale of course

I think it's great that it's co-op only.

Co-op games are the only games that I play now. The only time I get to play games is on a Friday night and it's just my friend and I.

Some very solid reviews, shame I'm forever alone.

I'll also pick this up at some point. Other half likes stuff like this and if we can play it together even better.

So am I right in thinking that if I buy this, I receive a code that I can give a friend to download the game as well?

I'll play it in 8 years when my son is old enough to play it with me. There is no-one else I could play this with.

I’m hoping the controls are easy enough so that my girlfriend can play it with me. She manages Lego games alright, same basic concept innit?
