Everyone should play AC4, 5 and 0 if they are able to. I did so recently and they're brilliant. Really looking forward to this now.

This and Skyrim could make VR pretty much perfect.

The main campaign mode isn't playable in VR, apparently there is a separate mode with 'several hours' of content.

Has it been mentioned its been delayed again too, now a 2018 game.

As long as I can buzz the tower to a Kenny Loggins track then I'm in.

Several hours of VR Ace Combat action is good enough for me as it'll likely be highly replayable by just small changes to enemy aircraft types and movements.
I'll just be happy to be able to fly about in a Eurofighter, Rafael or F-35B and if they can somehow include the new Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carriers to land on that would be even better.
2018 is indeed disappointing though.

This, Skyrim VR and Doom VFR will I feel turn the PSVR into the machine I've wanted all along  .

I'm never going to be a pilot so having this is pretty much essential and a must purchase and being a D&D fan a Skyrim purchase isn't even a question, I'm just doing it.

Not quite sure why you are so excited about a delay to a vague 2018 release for a game that will have limited VR content.
