He almost killed me at the very beggining of the game when I was randomly chosen to attack him too.

Everyone thought you were those humans screwing it up at the start of the game

I don't know why, I usually do well in these games if I don't get killed by a vigilante/some other kill role very quickly.

I don't even count the last game, because apparently having to do actual work during the day is enough to make you suspicious enough to kill. :fp:

I'm tempted to agree with you but have strawberry float all else to do with my night so it's staying on regardless

It's got some nice special effects and Mary Elizabeth Winstead sure is pretty.

Yeah she is really hot.

Chris Evans isn't bad as well :shifty:

strawberry float me though the tone is horrible, I'm wondering if Scott's meant to be this cool anti-hero opposite of lad type who still gets all the girls because he just comes across as quite the bellend. I can't quite believe he's luring all these hot chicks back to his place. Need to get in on his game

God Michael ceras a whiny wee bitch.

In the comics it's inherently clear that Scott's life isn't actually all that, and his relationship with the high school girl is shown to be creepy. The film forgets all this for "look references to stuff"

Yeah, the film is remarkably shallow.

Aw fucksake I missed a 9 goal game because of that gooseberry fool

Also I have this big white hole dot thing under my tongue, it's in a painful as strawberry float position. Hoping it's an awkwardly placed mouth ulcer and not herpes.

It's shallow but I enjoyed it nevertheless. And I can't abide Michael Cera.

Could be worse. You could've actually watched the football instead of just finding out the result afterwards :dread: :dread: :dread: :dread:

Yeah he's a little dick. That whole range of actors like him and Jesse eisenberg and the other guy all annoy me. I think it's basically just any kooky nerdy characters that I can't stand. Don't get the charm.

Nah football's cool

Eisenberg is funny in The Double (directed by Richard Ayoade). A good, Gilliam-esque film. His autistic nerdiness gets harshly punished in that.

Aw come on, she'd been a bitch all film cos of a fecking micro chip? That plot line sucks dick.

That sounds cool though. Watched his gadget man show earlier - the ayoade guy obviously - was pretty solid, enjoyed it.

The film was written/filmed before O'Malley had actually finished the comic books, so the ending's don't match up.

Would've loved for them to have gone with the serial killer alternate ending. Would've at least made the film slightly interesting:

The unshot alternative ending, which would reveal the whole film to be a dream, has been now confirmed by The Playlist. Co-writer/director Edgar Wright told them the idea was to shoot at least a news report saying a local teen has killed seven people. Basically Pilgrim is revealed to be a serial killer who more realistically murdered Ramona's exes and then dreamed up a video game-inspired alternative version in his head.
