I watch it on my iMac. This season it seems that BT has changed its video player and I can only get it to run if I allow all cookies (including third party cookies) to be stored. There are *loads* of things storing cookies and I can't believe they're all needed to get the player to work.
Has anyone found out what cookies are necessary? It seems odd that BT has so much sludge linked up to the player.
I only ever watch it via my PC but have never had any issues with cookies. The only issue I have is with Silverlight as it will say it's active and then tell me to activate it to allow me to play it which is just infuriating. I've just started watching the Spurs/Liverpool game on it and had to turn it off to watch a stream else where as the quality is so poor anyway.
At the beginning of the season it wouldnt play through Chrome, but it ran in IE without any change from the default settings. It is running on Chrome today, without me changing anything from default.
I suspect that, if you are using default browser setups, you allow cookies to be stored and so there aren't any probs. I prefer to block everything by default and set rules as to what sites can save cookies. I guess I'll need to work out what ones are necessary for the player to run; I don't know why it has changed from last season and why this clag has been introduced.
