Brilliant, thanks for bringing this to my attention mate, I can hopefully make some progress tonight!

Just to confirm, I had no issues after playing for 90 minutes playing last night. Audio can still fade in and out a bit weird, and the lip sync in cutscenes (not FMV ones) is still out by a mile, but the game is playing ok again.

Finally finished this over the weekend. It's weird how much I was struggling with the bosses at the start, and by the end Saga was completely overflowing with weapons and healing items (to the point where I never even bothered to pick the rifle up from the nursing home). It's annoying that the storage counts the charms as items, though. So you do the extra puzzles and get a pretty pointless charm that just takes up a slot, but you don't want to throw it away in case it might come in handy at some point

Thought the actual final section dragged a little bit with Saga in the Dark Place, but that was one of the only real dull bits.

I still had a couple of Investigation bits on the wall that weren't CLOSED, too. Thought I'd explored everywhere Clearly need to look harder.

Might go back and finish the last chapter of the Alan Wake Remaster before I start with the new game+... Are there extra pages, etc, to find on Nightmare mode like there were in the original?

Loved hearing actual POTF in the credits, too
