Great choice Wiggles. Communist Daughter is one of my favourite songs ever.

Yeah great album, "Ghost" is my favourite. Haven't listened to it in a few years, need to do so later.

Have you heard On Avery Isle? Nowhere near as good as ItAOtS (though some say otherwise) but worth checking out if you like low-fi folk pop.

Aye i have it alright, not really a fan at all to be honest, although there's a few decent songs on it. I'm not really into that kind of music at all, just something about ITAOTS that does it for me. The story of the album and the break-up of the band is so intersting as well. Saddens me that i'll never (barring a miracle) get to hear those songs live. Although Jeff Mangum made a few appearences with Elephant 6 last year, just singing backing vocals and what-not. First time he's performed anything live since 2001 or something.

Mangum is, uh, how can I put this...a bit eccentric. I wouldn't be surprised if he got the band back together at some point, though I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't think much of On Avery Isle myself. Some of their demos b-sides are great though, stuff like Bucket and Tuesday Moon.

Illmatic's timeless, bar Life's A Bitch.

"The smooth criminal on beat breaks,
never put me in the box if the gooseberry fool eats tapes.

My favourite track by far is N.Y. State of Mind - "I don't sleep, cos sleep is the cousin of death" is a classic line.

It's all good in the hood, though.

Goliaths Disarm Their Davids is one of my favourite metal songs ever. It's depressing how strawberry floating gooseberry fool In Flames are now. Gah.
