Biggest problem for me is will they be able to sustain the game for the purported 10 hours it's supposed to last?

There's only so much running and hiding you can do before the game becomes repetitive. Or maybe they'll follow the template of the Alien film, where the first half or so is spent setting up the horror show of the second half.

Only problem with this approach is we're all so familiar with the Alien.

You see, I dont mind walking about an abondoned ship, that sounds like heaven to me. Reading all the logs and stuff from Doom 3 at start was best part. I'm guessing first few hours is exploring, next few hiding and last few getting things in place while still hiding to work out how to kill it, possibly collecting things together for a 'trap'.

As I've never been too hot on Aliens and always preferred Alien, this game looks more up my street.

Hopefully if this turns out good, they'll be given a bash at Aliens.

Yeah, but you would be able to hear it scratching/skittering/chatter and knew it's coming.

I'll probably go... sneak, sneak, sneak, sneak, sneak... OH gooseberry fool as the alien grabbed me and put its penis-chomper through my chest.

My hopes are already through the roof, people who have actually played it say it's great, unlike Colonial Marines.

The thread on here was more entertaining than the game. One of the best threads we've ever had.

I just remember posting abuse in response to people saying they'd bought it, that and a gooseberry fool load of Aliens quotes 8-)

SEGA CONFIRMS ALIEN: ISOLATION ISN'T COMING TO WII U
"Right now, we don't have plans."

SEGA has confirmed that there are no plans for a Wii U version of the upcoming Alien: Isolation.
Officially revealed yesterday, listed platforms were revealed to be PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, though some fans were hopeful that a Wii U version could be announced if demand was there. Now, SEGA has reiterated there are no plans for bringing the game to the console on Twitter.

@Krawzorz Right now, we don't have plans to put the game on Wii U.
