It's brilliant. I haven't completed it yet either, but everything I played is fantastic. A very linear game, but I enjoyed it for being so different to everything else in that it creates a whole new universe and is genuinely very atmospheric. I got truly sucked into another world, seriously creepy at times.

If you knew you'd go mad and do a poo.

Best not to know.

Also, for Lovecraft fans I really would recommend The Call of Cthulhu

I find it hard to believe that any kind of useful technology could develop underwater. Anything involving fire and electricity would be out for starters so any intelligent life would either have to surface at some point or live a completely agrarian lifestyle.

Just because we can't imagine it doesn't mean it's impossible. I can't imagine going to watch Watford FC but I hear some people do.

Honestly, whut?

Just because we use fire and electricity does not mean there are not other ways of making energy which we may not have even developed yet.

I don't know. They're pretty fundamental. I couldn't even begin to imagine an alternative to a force that can make motors turn, lights flash, etc AND be used to represent information
(either analogue or digital), process it, make logical decisions/calculations and ultimately, transmit it all thousands of miles away in seconds.

That could be just me, but when electricity was discovered it was a total revolution - it made possibilities you couldn't even imagine before.
