Aliens is like District 9

How can you choose?

Alien is a great film, a classic, a masterpiece of cinema.

But Aliens was my childhood.

Aliens every time 8-)

Alien. Easily. Aliens has aged pretty badly. Cameron's writing is as awful as it's ever been.

I appreciate that Alien is the better film, but given a choice between the two for an evening's entertainment I would usually plump for Aliens.

Pretty much this.

I think Aliens has actually aged well. Recently watched it when it was on Film 4 the other month and it still seemed as good as it ever was.

Both are awesome movies but Aliens is just that little bit more enjoyable to watch with equally (if not more) epic moments and quotes which help to make it such a great cinematic experience.

Plus it's got 'dat fight'

Alien. Aliens is more of a Predator thing, and that is its own thing.

Doing the Alien series marathon is really trying. It starts great, but by the time you're a bit knackered and want to got to bed or do something else, you have to watch Resurrection.
