Annihilation Conquest has been dispatched. :datass: My Secret Warriors Ultimate Collection has arrived too, strangely before Time Runs Out Volume 4 which was dispatched first.

Yeah it's pretty grim. And of course Dan Slott is inevitably still on Spider-Man. If ever a book needed new blood it was that one.

Secret Wars #4 -

That issue. :datass: Hickman's Doom is the best,I actually burst out laughing at the last page. Until that happened I thought we'd just been given the explanation for why King Cyclops wasn't around post-Secret Wars but Strange is getting a book so the question remains unanswered.

Holy gooseberry fool! SW#4 was immense :datass:

Richards is going to do some very bad things to Doom, I do wonder if Ultimate Reed will play a major role in bringing down Doom?

Guess that's why Cyclops isn't around post SW :(

I bloody love how despite their entire world being destroyed Black Panther and Namor still go at :datass:

Secret Wars #4

I love how as soon as Richards appears Doom immediately gooseberry fools himself and goes back to his old ways.

Was glorious seeing Cyclops get his neck snapped like that, props to Hickman for actually writing him like a proper villain there in that speech instead of dancing around the subject and making him some sort of edgy anti-hero like Gillen and Bendis did.

Grim death for Strange. Won't be surprised if he is still alive as a spirit or some gooseberry fool.

Where is HM?

Are Bleeding Cool on some sort of mission to make their site look worse and worse?

Ha. I like Batman RIP but it's like the middle of Grant Morrison's Batman run and reading it first won't make any sense. Plus for some reason the trade contains two issues at the end which are set in the middle of Final Crisis and are unrelated to Batman RIP. Why they put them in the RIP trade I'll never know.

If you want to read Morrison's run which is good for the most part here's the order:

Batman and Son
The Black Glove
Batman RIP
FInal Crisis
Batman and Robin Volumes 1-3
Return of Bruce Wayne
Batman Inc.

This might not be something you guys can help me with but I'm looking for The Complete Age of Apocalypse book 3 - Books 1, 2 and 4 go for reasonably good prices online but the third book is almost impossible to find for less than £50. Anyone know where I can get it at a reasonable price?

DC still haven't released Batman Eternal Volume 2 when the entire series has been finished since like April. My god.

Keep an eye on Speedyhen. They might get some more but they say "more stock expected soon" for everything even when it's not.

Been look at some of the other ultimate titles as well, is ultimate Xmen any good?

My understanding is that it starts off well and then falls apart completely - I've only read a few volumes of Ultimate X-Men.

Quality varies massively with Brian K Vaughan's run the peak. Don't read anything beyond that.

Ultimate comics were amazing until ultimatum.. That absolutely killed it imo. Anyone else used Marvel unlimited. I'm loving it, read all the ultimate Spider-Man and X-men comics. Currently on Ed Brubakers run on Captain America and winter soldier. Totally worth the money.

I don't know. Ultimates 3 was terrible, Ultimate X-men got so ridiculous convoluted after about issue 50, Fan four was mediocre at best

Ultimate FF's greatest contribution was The Maker and that didn't even happen until after the series was cancelled.

EDIT: Just read Justice League and Joker's real identity isn't revealed. Batman apparently learns it after sitting on the moebius chair but he doesn't tell anyone.

If I was writing Batman every single reveal would be Jason Todd
