Anyone found a reasonable place to get hold of the Marvel Masterworks series at a reasonable price? I'd like to grab a few of them, but by God are they dear.

Looks like they've kept Ben mostly good - I'll be glad to see him back in the MU if that's the case.

Edit: costume looks like Spidercide, if anyone remembers him.

It's quite amusing across the web that most (not all) reaction seems to be laughing at the Inhumans getting what they deserve - but the underlying impression is that Marvel is trying to paint them as the underdogs/victims/ones to root for.

Has any recent Marvel event ever managed to paint the designated good/bad guys the way they want?

Civil War 2 finale sounded like an absolute cracker.

I see Bendis is writing the new Defenders comic that of course has the same line up as the TV show :sniper: At least he knows those characters and has written them all before.

Guys have I been missing a trick by not checking comic prices through Kindle? They seem to be the same as the Comixology version, even letting you download them through the Comixology app but there are some serious price differences.

Age of Ultron Complete Event
€27 on Comixology
€7.90 on Kindle

Superior Spider-Man Vol 1
€7.99 on Comixology
€2.03 on Kindle

Pre-order War of Kings Aftermath omnibus back in November when it was £67. My order was dispatched a couple of days ago and I've just got an email saying I've been refunded.

They claim it was damaged during transit. Hmm. Coincidentally it's nearly doubled in price on Amazon since I bought it.

I like how they learned nothing from designated heroes/villians in AvsX (this even ends with 2 people flying up while others look on...with onlookers saying "beautiful" this time...)....

Except to try and justify the face-turn "villian" at the end they nonsensically make her randomly a mas murderer :fp:

Sounds like another great non-Hickman event from Marvel!

Unworthy Thor has been really good it's a shame it's just a mini-series, think the last issue is out in a few weeks and that's going to reveal what Nick Fury whispered to him in Original Sin to make him unworthy.

Unless the reveal is amazing it's going to be anticlimactic given they've dragged that out for three years. At least DC's disappointing reveal of who Fake Clark Kent is was done in less than a year.

Apart from Black Panther, I could see me strawberry floating off Marvel completely if the next relaunch is as bad as their last one :dread: Their relentless push of Carol Danvers has almost killed my interest in Ultimates and it's only going to get worse the closer it gets to her (undeserved) movie.

Going by the rumours Bleeding Cool keep posting, all the proper characters are coming back in their main books and twats like Amadeus Cho Hulk are strawberry floating off to their own separate books. Took them long enough to realise it was affecting their sales.

Quickest relaunch ever? If they're going back to the status quo so soon there must be utter panic at the reception to DC Rebirth which has been generally very positive. That Clark Kent reveal aside the Superman books (Superman in particular) have been strong and The Flintstones is far better than it has any right to be.

I liked Carol, I have actual copies of almost all the Ms Marvel books but the character has been on a steep decline ever since they made her Captain Marvel and started pushing her as a major character.

She was absolutely fine and actually likeable as Ms Marvel. Everything since has just been so forced because Marvel were so desperate to have their own Wonder Woman and it hasn't worked at all. Her solo series (which has been relaunched around 3 or 4 times over the past few years) actually sells pretty poorly but has zero chance of getting cancelled whereas other, better books doing similar numbers have

Wait, so are they going back to the likes of Tony Stark as Iron-Man etc..? What about changes like Peter Parker having his own company, they getting rid of that too?
