Well this time it actually says "the end" no question mark so they're gona have to pull some serious gooseberry fool to fake it. Ultimate universe will die and Miles and maybe a few stragglers will survive on the new Secret Wars Counter Earth.

Speaking of Ultimate Universe actually, Ultimate Origins aside I now own every Bendis written Ultimate Peter Parker story.

I'm hoping/expecting that they'll start releasing Ultimate Spider-Man in omnibus form - There's 160 issues, so three or four volumes could do it and they would sit nicely alongside the 500 issues of Amazing Spider-Man I have in various forms.

I absolutely loved Ultimate Spidey, I read it from the first issue to whenever the first Sinister Six story finished. Only comics I ever bought week to week were that and Amazing Spidey. Really wish I hadn't thrown them all away

So I've just signed up to Marvel Unlimited and I'm looking for recommendations on what titles to read.

Been working my way through Amazing Spider-Man recently, only up to issue 34 but enjoying it so far. I also plan to carry on with Ultimate Spider-Man as I haven't read any of it with Miles, and I have Whedon's Astonishing X-Men in my library too. Any other suggestions on what to read? I'm open to try anything, and although I have a fairly decent background knowledge of superheroes and events, I haven't read all that much.

Mark Waid's Daredevil
Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force & Uncanny Avengers

Those are all the best Marvel runs in recent years.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2008) is quite good, though you might want to read Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest first, if you go to the Comic Events tab all the relevant issues are listed under the event name.

I've read the first 16 issues of Superior Spiderman now....really enjoyed what i've read so far, Otto makes a more interesting Spiderman than i've seen for a while!

Is this an alternate AoA or the original when it first started? Because there are a lot of characters shown there dead in the AoA universe.

Maybe all the "old" events getting teased are alternate universes where Civil War never ended, Thanos was successful with the Infinity Gauntlet, DoFP carried on and became Years of Future Past, Planet Hulk being either one where Hulk didn't return or did and "won", Armor Wars were Tony didn't stop it etc etc.

I'm thinking they all tie into Secret Wars, but maybe some are part of the multiverse incursions (so the ultimate one).
