There's a huge VR sale on steam at the moment. Most of my wishlist is on sale.

One of my favourite Indie games form last year - Arcade Paradise, is coming to VR. No release date yet but it seems to be coming to all VR marketplaces.

If they rejig some of the games to make them suitably interactive I can see this being great fun.

My Index got packed away shortly before my little one was born and I'm now seriously considering selling it on. Realistically I just don't know when I'll ever get a chance to go back to VR now that Zilson is here. Probably not until the much rumored Deckard has been released!

Don't want to sell it but it's just doing nothing.

From my own personal experience, I can unfortunately tell you that your suspicions are correct. I really miss playing VR, but it's just not feasible for the time being. Once they start running around and their toys take over your entire house (not to mention the whole 'I have no spare time and I'm always tired' thing that starts from when they're born), it's game over man, game over.

So asgards wrath 2 launches today free to all who bought meta quest 3. Has an IGN 10 and currently metacritic 93 (albeit after 10 reviews). Curious to try it later.

Another game for the improved with VR list, PowerWash Simulator is just so natural to play in VR. Yeah, there's no jump, but why do you need it when you can simply raise the powerwasher up high? I can probably see myself going through every mission in the game again.

Got the chance to play WipEout HD in VR the other day. Why Sony haven’t built a new one as a PSVR2 exclusive I’ll never know. The experience is brilliant.

So I got what I think is a vive cosmos for free from a relative, who got it free from a neighbour as it has one dead pixel I think and they got sent a replacement and said relative already has a psvr 2 and doesn't use their pc much. Will look up what specific model it is and all this vr malarkey on my upgraded pc when it's all good to go.

What about in the evening, couldn't you just tidy away the toys or play sat down?

The main issue for my VR playtime is that I only used it when the boy is asleep or out of the house. He would be desperate to play it but he's just too young (six), so I only use it on days off from work when I'm not doing other jobs around the house.

Playing sat down almost defeats the purpose, for me. Although I do have a flight simulator that's pretty good.

Tidying the toys is one of those options that exists in theory but not in practice. I believe it has its own chapter in So, You've Ruined Your Life.

Sounds very cool.

Need to look into it more next time I set up my VR properly.

That does sound a brilliant thing. Could just wander around in an open world in VR for hours like that.

Genuinely excited to see KID A MNESIA in that screenshot, would be amazing in VR!

Can't wait to check some of these out. :toot:

Robocop in VR would be a real power trip. So long as the UI works nicely rather than just being a square grid of green lines hovering an inch from your face!

This looks to me like it could really change VR. Unsure whether it will be affordable for home use though?

Imagine having that sort of setup with a VR headset in another 2-3 hardware generations' time :datass: that's when I'll finally know I'm living in the future.
