My friend lent me his Rift headset and man this seems like a lot of fun. Has anyone tried the VorpX drivers to convert normal games into VR?

https://www.vorpx.com/features/

It's $40, but if it works well then it seems like a much better option of buying a VR re-release.

YouTuber Nick Robinson gets a classic Tetris expert to play the upcoming Tetris Effect on PSVR. It's a great video and I loved seeing the tranciness of the whole experience, the graphics, the music and learning about the low latency/fast frame rate. The second video follows up with expert Trey Harrison's thoughts.

Some Daydream games are currently on sale at the minute on the Play Store. Had Blade Runner Revelation and Eclipse Edge of Light in my wish list so those 2 being half price or more £3-odd for Blade Runner and £4-odd for Eclipse) were instant buys.

Better chuck in Along Together which ive also just bought which is half price too.

3 million is great. On a recent Kinda Funny podcast Greg Millar had a co-host who is a PSVR game developer. Millar asked him about the hype for PSVR at launch which seemed to have died out. The dev. said that he is making games and from his perspective, it's a small market but a healthy market.

Wow, Blade Runner Revelation is all kinds of awesome for a VR game on Daydream. After an hour though my head is pounding

So what's the difference between the V1 and 2? Is it just an extra lead or something?

The new model features a “slimmer, streamlined” connection cable and integration of stereo headphone cables directly into the headset.

The hardware revision will also come with a new version of the Processor Unit, the breakout box that connects a PlayStation VR to a PS4, which supports HDR pass through. Previously, in order to use HDR-compatible features on a PS4 or PS4 Pro, PlayStation VR owners had to disconnect the Processor Unit.

Done it :toot: All set up now apart from one of my old Move controllers I found but I don't have the bloody lead to charge it :x

Rebought Resident Evil 7, again, and Batman Arkham VR off the PS Store. Rush of Blood installed too.

Now a big question is the HDR pass through. When I set it up the TV auto set to 1080p rather than 4K, is that right?

Batman VR is just, just, strawberry floating AWESOME.

Just need to sort the camera properly as having it on top of the TV that's on the alcove wall isn't right.

I loved the crime scene detective bits in it, I'd love for them to be more complicated and fleshed out to a longer game.

I'm tempted to jump in too.

I picked up one of the cheap fiver headsets for phones last week and thought it seemed very promising.

Was Googles Daydream headset that won me over. Bladerunner is very similar to Batman VR, flying to the next area through BR's neon plastered future city in a Spinner is amazing and played via a phone too.

Bought that Robinson game as it was less than a tenner on the store but I itching to buy Driveclub VR (dont have the season pass) and its only £7 odd, worth it? How is it in VR?

Anyone want a Samsung Gear Oculus? The one Ad7 put up on here to go to a new home for free? Well the missus no longer her S6 Edge and it's not compatible with her new S9 so I can either forward it on here to someone who's going to use it or pop it in to a charity shop.

I only played it briefly at one of those psvr shows so I can't remember that well, but I love driving games in vr. If you have a wheel and chair, the immersion is total. If it's a pad, then I'm not sure the disconnect would make it as fun.

I've not played an awful lot of it, but I remember I didn't think it was great.

Dirt Rally VR on the other hand I really liked (although I've not played much of that either).
