Thanks Alpha, it's been a very good read. I've tried to not to look at all the photos and videos as I don't want to ruin it for when we go next year (lol) but what I've read has been interesting, amusing and emotional (for you) so thanks.

Man reading that really brought up some stuff for me, especially the last update,

I put the note I had secretly wrote in her pocket without her noticing.
That is so bad ass, I did that to a girl once, but she never called me back! It's great to see that eventhough it looks like it is over between you two, you have made a friend for life, and maybe others in Japan, as it looks like everyone you encountered was more than happy to show you the robes.

I am pretty jealous of that Haul, there is just so much cool stuff there, but where's the Giga pudding! that looked like a strawberry floating challenge!

I'm a bit late, but your final update was beautiful. Glad things ended well. :( Thanks for the hard work though.

And Disney Sea Tokyo was lovely, such a magical looking place. Would love to take my kids there when I get some. :o

Thanks everyone for all the nice replies to the end post, I'm really happy knowing you've enjoyed my thread. A lot of people said I shouldn't have put so much effort into it but I think it was worth it in the end.

I'm actually having a lot of trouble sleeping since i've been back. Not because of jetlag, just because of thinking too much about her.

I feel really guilty now. I've been reading this thread since the third or fourth day but as I'm not a regular poster, I didn't comment at all. It's been a great read - your relationship made it all the more endearing.

Thanks.

Ditto.

Very Brief Encounter.

GR ROAD TRIP! We'd have a mission! It would make a GR trip even more epic.

Fabulous read again Alpha, and a particularly sad ending. I hope you are feeling better about it all now. Again, thanks a bunch for a great thread!

What a journey :D

One thing this thread never failed in, was driving me to starvation. So much delicious looking food, especially that Korean BBQ.

And why were so many people waiting for cripsy creams in Lake town? I know they are nice but THAT nice?

Since there are only a few Krispy Kremes in Japan, there are big queues to get them. The queues only get so big bceause people see a queue and feel the need to join it in order to not miss out on whatever it is, a queue means it must be good.
