If it's of any help, a similar thing happened to my brother, and he's just recently got married. Don't give up, the parents still have time to come around once they see the determination you and Antonia have to be together.

Sorry to hear things didn't work out with Antonia's parents. There are bound to be differences between cultures. Things might work out, they might not. Keep at it though. Sure as hell worth a try.

I echo what most of the others have already said. Been a great topic Alpha, thanks for sharing it with us. Gutted it turned nasty towards the end. Continue working hard Alpha and make your millions and then spit in the faces of her parents... well, maybe don't do that.

Her parents are letting her come back to finish her degree which is brilliant news! As for Pudding, when I have time next week, I will make a special video. When Antonia comes back, she will bring videos of Pudding vs George the Turtle. Aparently the turtle screams and chases pudding out of the garden. :lol:

This has been the best thread I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Thoroughly enjoyable and very interesting from start to finish, it's just a shame your trip ended the way it did. Still, from what I've read over the years, you sound like a right nice chap, Alpha, and I hope it all goes well for you and Antonia in the future.

Hong Kong looks and sounds amazing, would really love to see it first-hand some day and just go exploring.

I'm glad so many of you are thinking of visiting Hong Kong. Would it be useful if me and Antonia made a little quick guide to our favourite places?

That's really, really horrible. It's like something you see on TV or in a movie but don't you expect that sort of attitude to exist in the real world, at least not in this day and age. What a shitty thing to say/do.
