Amaranthe, originating from Sweden, have just released their third studio album Massive Addictive to great critical success following their previous two albums that met similar success, The Nexus (2013) and Amaranthe (2011)

They have an absurdly unique sound utilising three singers (male, female, male screamer), blending catchy female pop/melodic choruses with heavy beats, screaming and occasional dance beats.

I have made this thread to try and support and gain them any new fans, though I realise this will probably sink fast!

Even if you do not like Metal and screaming, there are plenty of songs that are excellent, catchy power ballads.

Hopefully someone find something they enjoy.

Gave most of those songs a try, but sorry hulohot old chum, they sound like prime material for xX360_nO_sCoPe_MLGpRoXx Call of Duty youtube montages.

Just listened to a couple of them. It's a nice sound, and I'll listen to more later. Not sure they're a band I'd seek out, but I wouldn't turn them off if they came on shuffle.

Makes me want to go and listen to Fear Factory's De/Remanufacture albums (a good thing).

I don't know why but I just don't like female vocalists in rock/metal music.

They sound like Evenescense, do not like.

My sister would probably like them though.
