Fair play to them, the attention to detail is genuinely great. I just hope it has a good story and a good sense of humour.

It'll be interesting what vibe they go for with the show. The games aren't just post-apocalypse, it's rather OTT alternate-timeline fantasy post-apocalypse. Quite a different prospect for adaptation compared to (say) The Last of Us, which is like a true-life documentary compared to Fallout. :lol:

Hopefully they decide to go all-out bonkers and don't retcon the whole thing into a more realistic setting. Those preview photos look quite promising in that regard.

Hope fisto makes an appearance :datass:

Trailer did nothing for me. Props and costumes look great but that trailer didn't give me proper Fallout vibes. I'm not surprised at all though.

Yeah that looks a bit crap to me. Happy to be proved wrong though.

The humour felt waaay off. More like Marvel humour than proper Fallout.

It'll probably all come down to the quality of the script I imagine. Usually does. Production-wise it looks like it's decent enough, they're clearly going for Fallout 4 aesthetic.

Although, I never really played Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 for the main stories. They're mostly all about the free-form adventuring. So having a passive storytelling experience set in that world is going to be interesting - they can't skimp on the main story like Bethesda does.

I actually think this looks alright. Will definitely check it out. Looks better than the Halo series for a start.

I thought it looked pretty good. I don't have Prime so won't be seeing it, though.; hopefully it'll arrive on disc at some point.

I'm thinking that maybe the series could get a few more folk playing Fallout games... including F76 :toot:
