I've come back round to this through a particular set of circumstances; our son is now able to pull himself up on things so the number of electronics out round the TV has been culled to the minimum, the PS4 is boxed up but we use the fire TV cube (which also has retroarch and ppsspp on the Amazon app store and is a stealth great emulation machine up to a point), so using the PS4 controller it is now my main gaming box.

I'm going to unlink my pc ubisoft account from my Amazon account and attach it to the wife's (as she has the "main" Amazon prime account so thought it just easier to do it that way), and you can't have more than one account on the thing, so that's easier than going back and redoing every login for every video service all over again.

It's wired into the router so the performance seems fine so far, but as soon as I start picking up games on the ubi store that my pc has no hope of running like the newer asscreeds I bet they'll "sunset" the whole thing...

I'm going to Jawa this thread myself because why not. After a few setup changes i'm pretty happy with it. I solved the delay by remembering to put the TV in game mode because the Fire Cube is technically not a console so doesn't do it automatically. Also unlike the PS4, there is no visible battery indicator for the controller in the UI anywhere so it will run until it just dies without warning, so picked up a charging stand to leave it on after every session.

Moved on to Far Cry 4 as I had it in my ubisoft account, its part of the list of things they let you use without paying more and I hadn't played it before. Obviously its a 10 year old game but at max settings it looks good and runs good too. We are still fairly behind the times in terms of TV so the fact it's 1080p max isn't really an issue either. The only minor annoyance is it doesn't seem to remember the setting for switching off the loot animations, so i have to do that every time i start it.

It's genuinely cool that you're getting into Luna, Trelliz. I barely see it mentioned anywhere and yet here you are having a pretty good time with it!

GOG games are soon to be playable via Luna. This could potentially be quite a boost for the service.
