Have they announced what the figures actually do in the games when scanned? I'm not really understanding the appeal of these so far.

I still have zero interest in this Amiibo gooseberry fool. If there was a game I wanted to play where u could only use Amiibo such as skylanders, disney infinity then maybe if the game appealed but for their current purpose it doesn't interest me.

Must hold off from amiibos. I've resisted Infinity and amiibos would lead me down a similarly expensive road.

Amazon seems to be doing its usual ploy of starting at a higher price and then waiting to see if a competitor under-cuts them; they did the same with Disney Infinity. Why am I tracking prices if I'm not going to buy them? :shifty:

ShopTo has them available for £10.85 each. I've got Silver membership so I managed to pre-order Link, Samus and DK for £10.52 each. That'll do, for now...

Hmmn, that must be the 'official' price as the Nintendo store never deviates from official pricing. I'd have expected Amazon or soneone to under-cut this; perhaps down to £9.99.
