I'd love to see a Disney Infinity style game that uses amiibo, as I really enjoyed Disney Infinity and I'm still excited to collect amiibo, but don't think that it'd be as surefire a hit as people think. Infinity died a painful death and Skylanders' last iteration performed a lot worse than the one from the year before it. Lego Dimensions is still alive but I can only wonder how much longer it will survive.

Nintendo would do well to just address the stock issues of the amiibo. I need to get back to completing my collection :toot:

I have limited experience of the toys-to-life games (mainly just watched my nephews play!) but they do seem to have dropped out of fashion. My nephews were really into Skylanders (not so much Infinity or Dimensions) but they never mention it now. It seemed like Dimensions was becoming the new leader but I get the impression that it is older players buying the kit now rather than kids.

amiibo just doesn't seem to have had a "big" game built to support the series; usage and functionality feels a bit weak and tacked-on. Personally, my main use of them has been to acquire a few outfits in Kart. I do like the idea of getting additional clothes from them - it works well in the new Miitopia game and I am currently donning a Tom Nook outfit in that  .

I've lost a lot of my interest in amiibo but... but... these new Pearl and Marina ones look off the hook! I'd like to get 'em!

Just give me Snake and a chance to buy a Bayonetta and I'll be happy.

The Banjo-Kazooie amiibo looks real neat! It's due to arrive "2021".

Byleth (Three Houses) and Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury) are on the way, too.

I think I might sell my Amiibo collection as they are all kept in a box at the minute. Are they actually worth anything these days?

They are, IM... pretty good money in some cases, too. Are your figures loose or sealed? Sealed ones are worth quite a bit more although loose figures in good condition are still popular. Your best bet is to do an "items sold" search on eBay; such as this one for sealed amiibo.

Yeah, things were a bit crazy at one time. I think they're still pretty difficult to get now as the recent figures are being produced in smaller numbers, so collectors still have a tough time obtaining them.

I was pretty big into amiibo those first few years but then I just stopped; trying to get hold of them was a pain and - the most disappointing aspect for me - games have never really made good use of them. All of my amiibo are the original "grey logo" releases; I don't think I have any of the newer "red block logo" types.

I think they're lovely, it's just more stuff to have around I found. I've got a woolly green yoshi that Staydead gave me (and did a drawing for me too  ), and the wolf link & 8bit Mario that both came with their respective Wii U box sets.
My best ones are the amiibo cards that I have for all of BOTW and splatoon 2, all in a leather bound sleeve.

Yup and I ended up buying the Zelda ones again but didn’t get a little leather case this time :x

I have an app on my iPhone called Amy (think was £2.99 after finishing on Testpilot) and that’s loaded with hundreds of Amiibos ready to copy to Ntag cards if and when needed. Lovely little app complete with pics of the models so you know what’s what.

Can you send a picture of that drawing? I can't remember that at all and now I'm curious what I drew.
