Amazon cancelled my King Dedede and Meta Knight

Dispatched Mega Man though.

Have a preorder for Shulk at Grainger Games. I'm not expecting it to be there when I go into town later...

I went into town to pick up my Shulk and DeDeDe, and after this thread (and similar stories elsewhere) I was expecting the worst.

But I was quite pleasantly surprised to see them both sitting behind the counter, waiting for me. Apparently quite a few people had already been in early that morning trying to get them too, but they only got my pre-orders in and nothing else. Feel pretty lucky right now!

Congrats, 'Penguin! You're a lucky chap - even the Nintendo UK Store has now been cancelling pre-orders.

Nintendo needs to make money... hits upon a potential goldmine with amiibos... then consistently doesn't make nearly enough to meet pre-order volumes, let alone the overall demand :fp:

At least Sonic seems to be available, unless they go fast 8-)

My Megaman and Sonic amiibo arrived today :wub:

Shulk is now safely home and on my desk. He's still in his box but there don't appear to be any imperfections. I'll open him up and add him to the collection a bit later on.

Popped into my local Grainger today and they told me they were getting some Shulk amiibos in tomorrow too so I put down a deposit on one....here's hoping!

These are the last ones that I'm buying I SWEAR.

Sounds cool, Seven - it'd be great to see the collection. Of course, the tradition of including an interesting game or two in the background must continue :-).
