Tell them you're moving house. They don't need a billing address then. Worked for me buying something off the US Kindle store.

Ah, ok I did that before, it doesn't let you buy stuff, though, which is what I want it for.

Chu Chu Rocket on my Asus Transformer - not sure how well it would work on a mobile with a smaller screen

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

Fallen Realms is quite good for no pence. Kind of reminds me of the original Bards Tale.

Just copy the SNESoid .apk file and all the roms over to the root of your SD card/internal storage or whatever. Install Easy Installer from the Android Market and that will automatically find and install the .apk, then you just select a rom from the list when you start it up.

There's a Dragon Quest Monsters game heading to Android from S-E. Not sure if it will make it to the West or not, but I hope so, it looks right up my street.

The only games I've really played on my phone have been the Zenonia games.

Has World of Goo been mentioned here yet? Didn't see it. It's out (came out last week I think).

A little feature on Eurogamer about emulators on Android http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011- ... se-article

SNES9X EX sounds a lot better than SNESoid, plus you can use a Wii remote as a controller with it.

There's also this app which allows you to search and download ROMs straight to your phone http://slideme.org/application/emulator-roms

I was wondering recently whether there was something like Cannon Fodder for Android, but then it seems Cannon Fodder on the SNES is exactly like Cannon Fodder.

Anyone using the MAME emulator? I tried at the weekend but it can't find the ROMs (even though they were on my sdcard). Can someone advise the path they are supposed to go in and whether they are supposed to be extracted? The readme seems to suggest they are kept in their compressed file form.

I don't know about MAME, but I just put all my ROMs in the root of the storage and they are easy enough for each emulator to find.

On-line is your best bet, a couple of places are doing it £149.99 + £10 top up. Should come with a 16GB SD card.
