Beyond satisfied with my OP6. In your shoes I'd likely spring for the 6T just for the in-screen fingerprint scanner, but both are great options.

Right.. still narrowing down the phone upgrade options.

Coming from a OnePlus 3T.
Either OnePlus 6T or Huawei Mate 20 Pro (catchy name :datass: ).

I think I'll be happy with either, but don't want to jump gooseberry fool to Huawei and regret it.

Any Huawei guys on here?

I'd go for the Huawei tbh if you are happy with the price. It's a monster.

The only complaints people have are the skin which you can just replace with a launcher.

I haven't seen the spec on the Mate 20 Pro but nearly all their phones have terrible screen resolution, not sure if that's been rectified on the latest ones. They seem to be solid phones apart from that.

It's 3120 x 1440

OnePlus 6T is lower at 1080 x 2280

The only points OP6T wins on is software and price.

I don't own one, quite happy with my S9+ for now, just want the facts out there.

Ah right, they've upgraded their screen spec from earlier models (which were all really poor).

Great choice of phone. I've had mine a bit over a month now and still love it. The battery life alone is amazing but everything else with it is so good too.

For protection, I'd recommend one of these:

Huawei Smart View Flip Cover/Case for Mate 20 Pro - Deep Blue https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07HX2FNKB/ ... hCbP7215D3

Pretty cheap for an official smart case and whilst it does affect the phones good looks it's works nicely and offers decent protection plus you can still answer calls etc.. without opening the case.

I was the same I got this case https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-Rugged-Huawei-Original-Flexible-Black/dp/B07GRMYK6L/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1545428086&sr=8-5&keywords=mate+20+pro+case

The only issue I've had with my phone is it had a known defect and Carphone Warehouse agreed to replace the phone.

Some of the screens when in low light or on dark backgrounds have a green light bleed on the right side of the screen,

Set up my Huawei Mate 20 Pro, got a tech 21 case and screen protector.

Lovely phone if a little heavy compared to my original pixel. Cameras are very special.

The set up was easy as was transfering across from the old phone was simple.

Really happy with it so far, also the battery is insane. Been messing about with it for ages and I'm still on 80%. Madness.

My secone Mate 20 Pro has developed the same fault I've been offered the value of the phone as credit.

I'm now looking for a new phone but not sure what to get, if I get a cheaper phone like the OP6T I'm not sure what happens to any credit left over.

Ended up with the S9+ as I couldn't be given any of the credit back which was over £900 including some compensation.

Serves me right for switching from a phone company I've never had issues with.

Looking to upgrade from my Moto Z, not sure what phone to get.

Unlike some of you here I'm price conscious, so the Mate 20 Pro is out as is the P20 Pro and probably the XZ3.

I've looked for the cheapest overall prices on contracts and I can basically get either a Pocophone F1, S9, OP6T, Pixel 3 all for between £550-£650 for a 24 month contract.

The F1 is probably out because its not that much cheaper and it does skimp in some areas. I've personally never really liked Samsung phones so I'm really not sure about the S9. That leaves it a choice between the 6T and the Pixel 3. I like both of them for different reasons, I'm not sure if the Pixel 3 is too small now and the 6T does look better. I know the Pixel is supposed to take the best photos, but I'm not sure I'm really bothered about the absolute best camera anyway.

Anyway got any opinions of the 6T or the Pixel 3?

I decided to go with the Pixel 3, longer lifespan is what did it for me. Plus with the cashback (assuming I get it) it was actually cheaper than the 6T.
