Do the Giraffe with the rugs and the turnip seller visit on this version? I have only just started my island so it's probably too much of a hovel yet.

The giraffe is Graycee if I remember rightly and she's the clothes person, as far as I'm aware she's not in yet. Sahara who's the camel visits with the rugs though.

I was a little disappointed when I first encountered Wisp that de-weeding your island wasn’t one of his rewards anymore

No idea sadly, I do know he seems to rotate them round? So far (on the days I’ve checked) I’ve had carrots and potatoes then carrots and tomatoes, I’m hoping he sells them all.

that cant be right, kicks and leif have been rotating for me

It may be that stock on Harv's Island doesn't rotate consistently across all the vendors. So maybe Leif rotates daily and Redd weekly.

I've had a look online to see if I could find out anything conclusive about how often Redd changes his stock, but it seems that the jury's still out. No major sites are stating anything definitive and opinions vary on other message boards.

It might be to do with the order you add vendors to the island, or which weekday they first set up shop?

Either way, one potentially useful point made was that if Redd does only change items each week, it might be possible to force him to swap out items by buying what he's got - as the item you buy will be replaced the following day.

Leif does a weeding service instead. I never use it because I think the weeds look great in the right places!

Yes - I've seen him selling potato, carrot, tomato and sugar cane starts already. You can get them from Kapp'n islands too, I have everything growing on my island now.

You should buy something from him every day regardless of it being fake, that slot will then refresh the next day. You can only buy one piece per character per day though still! I'm not sure when he rotates otherwise, but he has rotated the piece I haven't bought once already - probably it's once a week.

Leif definitely rotates every day, I haven't got Kicks yet (he is arriving tomorrow).

Now a question of my own now I have Tortimer - what is Cornimer all about :lol:

How is everyone progressing with Happy Home Paradise?

I just made my second facility, the restaurant last night. I don't know if the rewards vary for how long you spend making each place, but I definitely keep getting the dialogue for spending a long time on each build. Probably nearing an hour per house :lol:

Does finished mean made a house for every character?!

Or just completed the "story" in making all the facilities etc.?

I have a question about the DLC , can you make holiday homes for islanders that aren't residents on your own island?

Just finished another home, where I learnt the ability to polish furniture. Kinda fitting that it was full of gold.
