Wait until you've stuck a few hundred hours into it,you'll have loads of money, loads of stuff to craft and the ability to pretty much shape the island into how you want it. I've just built a giant water feature with a big treasure chest in the heart of it.

If you can, get on the holiday home game as you can get loads of different items and craftables on it.

I bought my first turnips on Sunday but they don't seem to be growing? I'll have to look into what I'm doing wrong.

Ps I finally got that winter wallpaper I was after but the elusive cutting board still evades me. I need it to craft an ironwood kitchenette ffs. Hopefully I'll get the Scarecrow in November.

Who would have thought that the pipes work eh. Just stick to the two though or you'll find yourself bouncing all over the island.

Have fun paying off your house lol,it takes loads of effort catching stuff to sell and whatnot.

I've discovered that you can't plant turnips so I'll not be buying anymore of them.

I've also recently got the stage flames from the vacation home game. They are awesome.

Playing the stalk market is a way to make an absolute fortune, but it's much easier if you have a large pool of active players as the chances of someone getting a huge sell price is obviously higher than it is playing alone.

If it helps though, there are some websites that help you predict turnip prices and when they might peak:

Thanks bud but I've already got more money (over 4 million with house and storage fully expanded) and Nook miles (just above 150 thousand) than I know what to do with.

If any noobs want some money then give me a shout and we'll sort something out. It's just a pity that you can't gift Nook miles.

My partner has basically taken over the running of the island now so my time with AC appears to be done  at least she can get all the day to day tasks done and I’ll play it when the special events are on :toot:

Aaaaaaarrrrrggggh! Loaded it up today and all my shrubs are just plain green. It's gonna be a lot of work going around replacing them all. Maybe I'll just dig them all up and put hedge or fencing everywhere. What strawberry floating joy.

Well, that's all the sharks buggered off until next June. Lots of expensive fish gone. Not much easy cash in fishing now.

I'm still begging somebody to send me a cutting board recipe for my ironwood kitchenette and a Scarecrow recipe.

I'm begging on my knees here.

I would happily do that but I don't have any of those flowers. They must have been on sale before I started the game.

Please don't deny me a cutting board because of that. I'd give you anything I have.

Also,I don't know if we're friends and I can't see you on the list.

Are you gonna help me our with the cutting board? Are we friends? If not I'll need your code. I'll look into breeding those flowers as it isn't something I'm aware of.
