I didn't get a hold nugget yesterday, Fisher. Unfortunately I didn't get time to play much yesterday; I logged on late in the evening just to get the Nook Miles daily bonus. I hope to do a bit more today... including gaining some more Bells to help pay for my latest set of steps.

Pets. How cool would it be to have for example, a cat and a parrot in the house, and a dog following you about and interacting with other dogs. You could feed and groom them to keep them happy, and even have a door with a cat flap..

We can do most of that

????? There are no pets in the game  .

Have you ever pushed the interact button in front of a dog kennel though? Eerie stuff indeed.

there are dogs that follow you while you interact with other dogs. you can have cats and parrots in your house. you do feed them, not sure if you groom them

Are these elements really in the game? I've only recently got back into it, but I've not seen this  .

Pretty sure Shy Guy's referring to the fact the villagers are animals.

Ah! I see!

It'd be cool to have pets, though. A wee doggo  .

I’ve still never played this despite owning it since launch day :slol: I did lend it to my sister a couple years ago and she played it during covid, one day I should give it a go.

Yes you should, it takes a week or so of playing to actually 'get it' and see how the progression works. Start in a tent using a stick to jump over water, but eventually you'll have a big house, bridges, steps to get to higher areas, you'll have full control over the island with a full construction kit and so much more. (Right now I'm trying to perfect a heart shaped pond).

It is marmite though, but millions of people can't be wrong.

If you do enjoy it though, just be prepared for it to take over your real life lol, as its sucking every minute out of me.

I'm equally as daft. That should have been obvious what he meant about pets :slol: .

In my defence, I'm really tired :fp: .

Another idea. Options! I'd like to be able to play without the background music. I always play with the sound down unless I'm catching fish.

Also, I changed the island music but I never hear it when the volume is up. Saying that, I'm maybe missing it as the volume is down about 87% of the time.

YAY! I finally got the second cast master. Then I thought I'll keep going until either my rod breaks or I f#ck up as fatigue was setting in.

I got to 60 and lost my concentration. Bah!

I don't have too many Nook Miles at the moment, Fisher, as I recently used a few thousand to purchase the sand walkway and four lampposts. I've got around 2,500 right now, dude.

No trees today, Fisher - I didn't get time to do much and I just checked in to collect the Nook Miles bonus. I hope to spend a bit of time planting trees and flowers tomorrow, though.

Nooks shop shutting tomorrow for an upgrade. I don't see why they have to remove the drop off box for the day though. Not cool.

It's always great to see Nook's Cranny getting an upgrade! Yeah, you have one day of no selling, but it's worth it to see the new store. You seem to be really getting into this, RG?

Wow! You're doing really well in collecting for the museum, Fisher! I haven't got any artwork yet as they're pretty expensive.
