One question as you completed the DLC before me, you know the concert with DJ KK, can you come back to it another day or is that it? Because it's epic and I'd love to keep coming back to it!

im not sure if kk comes back. If he does it’ll be after you make a lot more homes. Joan appeared in the hospital right after I finished claiming it was her Monday check up and I was wondering if it was cause that’s when I finished it or if it’s Monday for everyone. And free turnips

Had no idea I could ask Wilbur to dance! He gets to be in the middle instead of your character and it says "DAL's ace pilot", it's so cute! I'm loving all the new dance moves in the reactions now too!

Fully back into this now. Have a few projects on the go and feels like there are more reasons to check in daily.

Still think the shop is a bit gooseberry fool and barebones compared to previous versions but Harvs island now helps a lot. Wish it was easier to switch up villagers as I have quite a few dudds.

Does anyone open their islands regularly?

I still open Chaos on the odd occasion, I haven't in a while though, I've been knee deep in the DLC!

As for an island full of wishing stars, not yet no. I have however been to one that was very stormy, and ended bringing the storm back to Chaos :lol:

it was quite sureal watching the whole island light up like it did!

No, but my girlfriend did. You should definitely be hitting the rocks if you do find a star island! :shock:

Like others are saying, the update has really bought a second life to the game for us. I've passed the 10 properties mark on paradise planning. Outside of the paid DLC, I love that Gyroids are back! They are so charming and I look forward to having a room full of them. Harv's Island is a little disappointing, mainly due to the pace at which the shops are replenished (or not, as the case seems to be).

I've been to a star island but I never hit the rocks! Are they full of star pieces?

I found a bug over the weekend - I put my switch on sleep while inside my house, and when I came back to it a few hours later I had Erik immediately arrive to visit, give me a gift, then say he has been visiting for a while so it was time to leave. I guess those events were set to trigger on entering my house before going on sleep?

Been redesigning parts of my island anyway, it's pretty much done now - will have to update my woefully outdated dream code soon!

Also - anyone else had a character show up in Brewsters without using an amiibo? I randomly had Don Resetti a couple of days ago! That was a very busy day in the coffee shop as one of the nooklings came in for a takeaway coffee while I was sat down.

Brewster offered me pigeon milk too, that was disturbing :lol:

I've had Celeste and KK in there so far, and I had Isabelle pop in for a takeaway whilst I was there! My villagers seem to really like it in there, I keep finding them sat with their coffee in the middle seat.

I love the little jug of it that he has under the counter that he pulls out. It's so small compared to his wing :lol:

That's a good point actually, the takeaway coffee does right?

Considering you can lower the food meter by sitting on a toilet, I can only conclude that the stools at the bar in Brewster's are actually toilets.

Thought I’d finally make a start on the DLC, just about to design my first home

So far I’m really loving the vibe of it, neat that you have to get changed into a uniform like in the previous AC games when you first rocked up at your village and had to work for Nook :lol:

One down and this is just lovely isn’t it :wub:

Might finally get around to redecorating all my house (which basically needs starting from scratch :lol:

) when I’ve unlocked all the extra features from doing plenty of these holiday homes. Reckon I might just chip away at it by doing 2 or 3 a day or something, don’t really need to rush it after all, just wanted to make a start before Pokémon came out :lol:
