I traditionally get Football Manager for Christmas but with us a couple of weeks away from September normally we would have heard something on the next football manager by now with it normally coming out in October. So has anyone heard anything about Football Manager 09 or are they concentrating on the online version of Football Manager?

havent heard anything, there is normally a demo out by now so maybe they are focussing on the online version. I only usually buy one every 2 or 3 years, its the same game basically. Just edit the team line ups and your ready for the new season.

Any news other than it'll be the reason I fail my first year at Uni? Nope.

I think I'll stay with 08, as I've finally got a good squad together with Partick Thistle after having had 3 prior jobs. I'm getting promoted to the SPL this season I tell ya.

Oh good. I did pretty well with this season's game, taking Plymouth from nearly relegated in the Championship to winning the quadruple within eight years, winning the title twice in a row with Newcastle despite the chairman selling most of my best players, 100 point season with Arsenal, and winning the Spanish league with Sevilla with not enough money to even have an assistant manager.
